After a run with FEFF, it’s my time to bow out of the spotlight of staff and leave the boards for good. While I plan to keep my motives for resignation private, I do plan to say some things about FEFF in my post that reveal what I think of it now and what direction I think that we’re taking. All I ask is that you read my post and let me leave with my dignity in one piece, I plan to do the same with FEFF’s. To be honest, FEFF is in decline right now. Less and less members are sticking to the boards, the older members have faded away, and interest in Fire Emblem is low among the members. The lack of activity and the attempts to raise it to it’s former glory, while good in thought and right in practice, just aren’t accomplishing what they’re set out to do. Contests are fading away with the absence of the people who have started them, debates gone unfinished and unresolved lurk sitting in the Fire Emblem sections, and the RPG has had some fall-outs (Jiang). It’s not good and looking grim for the future and I feel like a loser for leaving FEFF in this time of distress. FEFF is headed to its demise, to be blunt. With only a few elite members frequenting the boards, FEFF is slowly becoming a circle of friends. This circle will die, people will become bored of this and the board will crumble in the end. While my views are pessimistic, I know people share the same sentiments as I do. My advice to you is to keep going and keep trying to increase activity until there is no hope for revival at all. FEFF is not dead yet, but with the current situation that we are in there doesn’t seem to be much time. Keep fighting, I know I don’t have the will or hope to continue trying to keep FEFF afloat, but hopefully others do. Thank you for hearing me out, this is my last testament to FEFF. So long and good night. |

Hmmmm...... Another one bites the dust plays in background. Well, at least one problem that has caused staff much strife has been fixed. =/ Later dude. Good luck with that hardest English teacher and history teacher from hell and other such sentimentalities. I do agree with most of your points though. =( |

Well guys... It's up to us now to do what we can to pave a better future for this board. Richie and Reaver both resigning thier duties. We need to do all we can to make sure that we can actually keep this board up, and not let it go down. Let's try to prove Reaver's prediction wrong. I'm sure we can do this. But on a bright side.  We should throw a going away party! And I want your cake!

Hopefully the staff can recover from these loses. I mean, both were some of the best. Richie and his html skills, and reaver for his level-headedness. The staff can pick back up, I know it. |

I don't think that Richie is ENTIRELY gone, but I know that he drop in from time to time, to help out with anything that needs to be done. I just don't really feel secure right now with Lucas being the only 'everyday' admin. Nothing against him, just the way things might be handled. (Perhaps a little increase with staff? I'm sure we could take a mod and put them as an admin for a little bit.) |

I agree, I don't think one really 'active' (Not saying Bob and Rock aren't) Administrator is very good. I could see even a temporary promotion happening. |

One that can be considered reliable, and active.
