Axe > lance Lance > sword dart gets a bonus 30% evasion cause of that

I was wondering if I should promote two of my characters right now (Bartre, Oswin, Guy, Dorcas, Lowen, Sain, Kent) or wait for a different character. If I should wait, who do I give them too? If I should promote now, who do you guys think should get them?

Posts: -8,387,751 Group: Advisor Member #61 Joined: June 9, 2005	What levels are they at? Out of those, you should definitely promote Oswin and Lowen. Oswin is a DEF tank who dishes out the punishment and Lowen's DEF is nothing to slouch at either.

If I should promote now, who do you guys think should get them? I'd highly recommend waiting until a character reaches level 20, and then promoting them. It allows for the maximum levels that can possibly be attained for any character. Out of those, I would recommed Oswin and Bartre. Oswin has the defense covered quite nicely, and has the highest total stats out of any unit in the game (IIRC). Bartre is a powerhouse axe user, and he's better than Dorcas as well. Regardless of how good you might find Guy to be, I would NOT recommend promoting him. He's useless. :[
