The timing of the whole situation? Why, this is actually perfect timing to do away with certain figures! First off, there would be no problem right now (and I'm not going to choose favourites like most people do) since Marcus has been demoted. There should not be forum peer tension anymore because our problems consisted of what was being sluffed off and what was being established improperly; not where certain people were and how they never got the attention/powers they wanted. Like Psio said, Kamai has very strong leadership skills. He's not only mature but trustworthy which is very rare these days. Secondly, It's not much of a hassle to be blessed with leadership really... you just promote that person and expect them to do their absolute, honest-to-the-heart best like they would do if they were the honest and dedicated with you as a normal friend. Yet, what gets me here is when it comes to actually TRUSTING these people we choose; putting faith into people you know that will benefit the forum in a more stable, balanced way. People tend to get arrogant when they recieve power; you know it's all that. But read this: It's not always about what you guys personally want. You must contribute or just don't do it at all. If they needed leaders, mods, advisors and whatnot just wait for it to be decided who goes where. That's how I see it. Just a "Oh gimme this! or I'll throw a fit, I'll-I'll go crazy!" thing. Be glad that the Leaders are setting better standards for all of us. |
