It is designed to give regular players outside of the judge and leader usergroup full control of the fates of a group of units of their choosing. You sign-up and participate in a draft-like thread, where you make your first, second, third picks in order. You're encouraged to look into other guilds for your units so you can spread the wealth, and if you're new to this, a chance to pick from one of the more veteraned guilds. After the teams are organized you'll be pitted against a randomly selected team. If you win, you go onto the next round. If you lose, you're eliminated from the tournament. The rules are thus: (Bolded for extra emphasis) [size=7]Current Rules[/size] - Eight teams. The teams already being organized will be listed under this. - Giving your team a name would be good, but it isn't required. I'll just name it <Tactician's Name>'s Team if you don't care. - Six units per team. No more than three members can be from the same guild. - Level Cap: 24. Meaning the added levels of all your units cannot exceed 24. That means if you pick a unit like Lunesta, you'll be sacrificing ten levels instead of the average four and you're likely going to have to pick weaker units. This enables people to pick powerhouses at a reasonable price while keeping it, technically, balanced. - A drafting thread can commence beforehand so not one team has all the superior players. You have two days to pick a unit each time you're up (you'll be given a total of six turns). If you're not active in the drafting thread, your unit will be picked for you and the next person will be up. We need to keep it moving, guys. - Leader bonuses are not put into play. - You need to win to get the EXP and gold. No EXP or gold growths during battle. - STAY ACTIVE. The three-day rule is in place here as well. If you don't post a move within three days, you forfeit your turn. Miss three turns and you're automatically DQed and victory goes to the other team. - THESE RULES STILL AREN'T CEMENTED and are subject to change, so heads up. - This isn't likely to be started right away, so patience is a virtue. I think we still need a judge. I know I can't do it. - It is encouraged that you keep an eye on this thread. It's the planning thread. - The level taken will be the level listed in the guild thread at the time they're chosen - It is preferable that guildmasters add earnings once the unit is out of battle - Vulneraries are nulled. You simply can't use them. It would be wise to invest in a healer unit. - Additionally, there is no weapon losses or gains. You don't have to worry about running out of anything, but your grade does not shift. The draft order is first-come-first-serve, but everyone will get a chance to get some of the units they may want. Since I need to judge and I help do tactics for the Libertine anyway, I'll let other people enter, but if we're still looking for a while, I'd like to take a whack at it.
