I've concocted quite the stale (but very balanced!) little set up. First off; Entrants Only one person per guild can participate, I recommend the guild helps decide who will be in it, as they'll need to be a stable/active member to keep it flowing along. What one must do. Each participant will pick 8 level 20 NPCs to be used on their team from this list;
No more than one unit of each class allowed (also: a max of two armors/knights/staff users) With that team of 8 each participator will duke it out on a fairly small and symetric map, most will have little if any special terrain. Equipping your team Each unit can be given any 1 E and 1 D weapon (example: A javelin, and a steel lance) This does include level D slayer weapons. No vulneraries will be included. Other stuff This will run round-robin style, there should only be about 6 participants and if not, doens't matter, round robin works for any number you can think up. Normal vs. rules apply (THIS DOES include 5 bonus exp and 5 gold per enemy killed, so a clean sweep helps you get more than your foe does), no weapon exp or normal exp needed to calculate. Rewards First place: 50 bonus exp to guild, 100 gold to guild Second place: 40 exp, 80 gold Third: 30 exp, 60 gold Fourth: 20 exp, 40 gold Fifth: 10 exp, 20 gold Anything below that gets squat diddly. DO NOTE: For each successfully completed match both participants get 50 bonus exp and 100 gold for their guild. This is to say, you fully played out the match. If someone drops out of a particular round or fails to fully complete the battle they do not get completion reward, the other participant, if they had been keeping up fine to that point, still gets participation reward. Getting first place is less important with this one, so much as making sure you truly take part in it. Camping Prevention In order to address the issue of camping and dual camping (both sides refuse to make the attack), I will impliment a system I call "sliding walls." Every couple turns a set of rows or columns on the outside edges of the map will simple, disappearing, effectively reducing the playing field. There is a 1 turn warnng for these and any units on tiles that disappaer also disappear for the match. There's only two flier classes, so that takes care of itself. And yeah, knights =/= fliers. You can have 4 hit and run units at most. |
