I like the concept of horsetank Treck and glass cannon Noah as a little support squad. It's a pain not having matched movement with supporting units, but role disparity makes them much more fun. I'd like to see some kind of interesting application for the Ostia units (the armor knights mostly). They're all mediocre statistically, and armor knights have minor class problems in FE6 compared to the other GBA FEs (ex. all maps require long marches for throne captures). You could leave one of them as a poor character to make the triangle attack less attractive. |

You probably haven't noticed, but I have a system going on: 280% total growths for unpromoted characters. 60 total stats for unpromoted melee characters (+5 for Knights to compensate for movement) 50 total stats for unpromoted magic characters And for every level above 1, add extra two stats (I.e level two characters would have 62 total stats) |

That's actually a serious downgrade for Bors. He'd cap out on defense way before level 20 prepromote, and the small handicap in speed growth would knock him down from a character that doesn't get doubled into one who does. Wendy's problem is coming in with a bad weapon, very underlevelled, right as you're looking down about six chapters in a row where axers are by far the most common enemy and you have several great sword or bow units to build up. She's actually losing some growth in your system (290->280) and the slightly better bases wouldn't be enough to make her a competitive character. Barth just needs some skill, which you gave him, so that's fine. Are you going to downgrade some of the uber characters that dominate the base game, like Shin, Gonzales, et cetera? Otherwise, I think the upgrades would have to be more decisive. |

Maybe a level upgrade could work for Wendy? But it wouldn't make sense considering she just became a Knight.. But I don't see the problem in training her. You can take your time and use the Triangle attack to her advantage to help her level up, and she can hold her own on the Gaiden with a healer.. As for Bors, a 35% growth won't hurt him too much, I assume. Eh, I haven't ever played a run where I tried to use the triangle attack extensively, so I don't know how well it fits into strategy. Someone else will have to comment. |

Well, you basically get the knights together and let Wendy execute the attack. Easy kills, IIRC. On top of that, if a Wendy crit can't kill the enemy, Bors or Barth should be slow enough to weaken the enemy and not kill it. Then Wendy can triangle attack =) |

The thing is, though, she can kill wounded enemies with the Triangle Attack, but that says nothing about her defences. She still gets slaughtered on the enemy phase. |

Yeah, I understand how it works, but I don't know how well it fits into strategy in real levels, when you're moving forward every turn to the throne, trying to build supports, and so on, subtle things that are hard to calculate but easy to see experimentally in a run through. |

You have other units >_> And Bors and Barth make it so that Wendy can only be attacked by 1 melee enemy and one ranged enemy. With 8 defense, it can't hurt THAT much. But I digress, we're straying from the topic at hand >>; |

It shouldn't take but two attacks to finish her off, sadly. I wouldn't call this entirely off-topic, as you can derive from this how you're gonna help Wendy or if you are at all. But yeah, no reason to clutter this up. Good luck with this, BTW! |
