Strength. That 30 growth is gonna make itself too evident before long, so you might as well delay it a bit. Maybe I'm overreacting on the Speed thing, but double digits at 1/0 is eye-popping. >_> |

Sue is suppose to be the strength depriven dodgy and fast Nomad. What do you MEAN give her strength? I'm balancing characters in relation to eachother, not balancing growths to base stats individually. Shin has more strength then Sue. Sue has more Spd and Luk. That's how it should be. If anything -1 Spd and +1 Luk. |

No, you're thinking of Shin. Speaking of the HM bonuses, I'd undershoot the stats on characters like Shin or Miledy so that their HM bonuses only bring them back up to the intended baseline. The patch idea appeals to me mainly because I could replay the game as a serious, all-out ranking attempt without being compelled to use the obvious uberteam characters that I'm sick of, and to stick characters in new support configurations. |

I don't recall exactly, to be honest, but I seem to remember something about Sue getting HM bonuses. I'm likely remembering wrong, but... |

I got a notepad keeping track of all this as I go >>; Don't have any spreadsheet programs. I don't play hard mode, so that would throw a wrench in my plans. Sorry.. Anyhow, Mercenaries. This is a problem. Dieck's total stats are 82, but they need to be 68, but to even that out his growths will go from 270 to 280.. o shi Oujay has 68, and needs to be 60.. Were you, perchance, counting stagnants in that? If so, Dieck and to a lesser extent Oujay have above-average bases because of their high-to-mediocre Con. |

Constitution, Move, and Aid. Basically, stats that don't move on a levelup. In this case, Dieck has high Constitution and Aid, so his stagnants are probably higher than normal. Oujay...not sure, probably because he joins a tad underlevelled or something. |

I wouldn't count it in the bases you're tampering with, but rather set it to something rational. For example, Oujay's Con is, liek, 8. He uses Axes on promotion, whereupon his Con jumps to a measly 9. Now, I wouldn't make it Dieck-level Con, but I'd up it to 11 postpromotion (10 base) so he doesn't have *as* much trouble with Axes. He's built to, hence why you don't go to 15 Con like Dieck, but 9 Con's a bit too low for someone with Axes. Basically, set it to where weapons aren't so overbearing on the unit's AS that it becomes a huge hindrance. 'Cept the Peg Knights, though, throw 5-6 Con their way since they're supposed to have low Con and high Spd. |

Oujay is like Raven. He's suppose to have lower Con. It all evens out (Dieck has +5 Con, but Oujay has +5 in other stats) We all good and done with Mercs? |
