Reikken, you're very late. I'd like to conclude this tournament to start another. I believe I gave you an extra day, but it's still not up. I have to DQ you for this round. Moving onto the second match, then. I shall keep Garret. |

What happened to "the difference is that wasn't holding up any other matches"? What utter bias. And no, "he's holding up the next tournament" is not an excuse to disqualify someone in the Finals. That's so anticlimactic. |

No, he's indeed holding up the FE 6 teams tournament I've been wanting to start for a long time now. You can ask Sentenal to verify that; we've been talking about it for a while now and waiting to start it. He was on his 5th day with no extension requests. Rules are rules. If you're going to bring up the FE 8 teams thing, that tournament is long dead thanks to everyone dropping out. Reikken only got DQ'd for the first one. I have to win twice. |

It doesn't matter. The new time starts from when I posted in this one. Edit: Oh, FE 8... Also, please post for time extensions in the future... |

Huh? Grand finals should only be one match. Two Debates is extremely pointless. In almost every case the first winner wins anyway. |

Nppb, the person that comes up from losers has to win twice. The person that won winners finals hasn't lost yet. |

He already won the winners bracket. Even if he loses, he has no where to go on the bracket. |

Wtf does that matter? You make no sense. I can't count on two hands how many times someone has come up from losers in a Smash tournament to take 1st place. He won the winners bracket, which means has to lose twice in the grand finals. The loser bracket shouldn't even exist if you still can't get first. DOUBLE elimination. |

Uh, so? Why not give the win to Reikken now then?
But here's the thing. He can't GO to the losers bracket. He falls off of the bracket when he loses. |

I meant it's happened way more than ten times. I'd need like 30 hands to count the amount. That means absolutely nothing. You have to lose twice. DOUBLE elimination means you must lose TWICE, TWO TIMES, YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO HAVE TWO TOTAL LOSSES, to be out of the tournament. Reikken has lost ONCE, ONLY ONCE, HE HAS ONE TOTAL LOSS, therefore he can't possibly be out, and another match must be played. Trying to argue against that based on not having a place to put the loser of the first grand finals match is dumb. MLG is right. EVO is right. The Smash community is right. I am right. You are not. |

So.... if the Winner's Bracket Finalist wins the first match, it's all over, since then the Loser's Bracket person has lost twice, but the Winners Bracket person has to lose twice before he's out >_> Hmm.... skewed odds, really. |

Well, his logic about the double final matches is that the Winner's Bracket dude has to lose twice, since it's DOUBLE elimination. So, logically, that extended to the Loser's Bracket person means the Loser's Bracket guy has already lost once, so one more loss, even if it is a double final, would mean he'd be out. |
