He broke his hand punching someone, and only gave him a bloody nose. I mean, if he wanted to be Badass, he would do it something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkkFPrNdKu0 Not only did he punch/kick something hard enough to break his own robot, the victims were owned. See, in order to do something badass, the key factor in it isn't how much damage you cause yourself. The key factor is in how much you are owning the other guy, and then bonus points for style. I overcame the limits of the road earlier today, by driving like 40 mph in a 30 mph zone. It wasn't a badass action, though. |

Aw man, you owned me on the definition of badass. =( Where's the kickass introduction in Reyson's favor? He deserves one. Even if he's banned from debates. Edited by A2ZOMG, May 25 2009, 10:40 PM.

this does a little i suppose But I'm not entirely sure if you should consider taking so long to have someone get a bloody nose is so badass. Oh yeah, the second part of the video is boring. Don't waste one minute of your life watching it like I just did. Edited by Tino, May 26 2009, 07:12 PM.

Even though Lethe isn't considered good (to my knowledge), I've always used her. She is a good bad unit. |

Solide in his last debate proved that she's better than Tauroneo. http://forums.feplanet.net/index.php?showtopic=25538 That has to mean something. =/ Edited by A2ZOMG, Jun 4 2009, 03:11 AM.

I don't think winning a debate with a character qualifies as "proving" they are better. |

I dunno, Solide seemed pretty convinced that Lethe could easily go a few spots higher. |

Hmm... Pardon me, new user posting, tell me if I seem rude, please. Lethe, in my honest opinion, was a Glass Cannon. Sure, she has that offense, sure she can dodge pretty well, but in fixed mode, I found out that she couldn't take hits, not least not as well as other Laguzes. (Is the plural forme Laguzes? Correct me if I'm wrong.) I'm sorry, I'm deviating from the "Favorite Laguz" Topic. Mm.... My favorite Laguz is Naesala, not because of his stats, but because I liked his sly attitude. |
![]() I suck at GFXing. Please bear with me.

If the Lethe in PoR is anything like the one in RD you'll find that she'll rarely have to worry about taking hits. Period. Even such a situation she happens to take one, or even two, she'll likely be fine. She may not have the defense that the tigers have, but what is a defense score going to do against fire magic, or magic in general? I'll be honest. I tend to prefer the cat laguz for non-statistical reasons, but that still doesn't stop them from having their uses in-game. Mind you we're talking about a game I've never played. If the mechanics and characters are radically different than RD, ignore this post. ~ Kovu |

Lethe is very durable. At least when transformed. One of your most durable units by far when she joins, and also one of your best combat units while transformed. Plus the added advantage of being an early transformer for hax everything in general...I dunno, I think Lethe is a pretty good unit overall. The only thing that really seems like an issue is just because there is competition for laguz items with other good laguz units. Jill also really wants to support her since she's a bit short on those supports that she needs when she joins. She really wants that hit bonus from Lethe. Also, I'm fairly certain that Laguz is both plural and singular, the same way as the word deer is in usage. We refer to their entire race as "the Laguz" while we call ourselves "humans". At least that's how I see it. Edited by A2ZOMG, Jun 9 2009, 10:05 PM.

Lethe is plenty durable. With 15 base def and 50% growth, not to mention her >30 HP and great avoid due to speed and you have one really durable unit. |
