So this sub-forum was finally made. Things we need to decide/discuss before we can let actual rankings commence: 1. Should we include Art (hand-drawn) in here as well? There has to be enough support for this to go through. If there's only 1 or 2 artists willing to be active then we can't do it. 2. Judges? How many should we have? I was thinking around 3-4. I'd volunteer myself to become one, and I suppose we could have members (you) suggest others. 3. Rankings themselves; I was thinking a general "Master, Expert, Intermediate, Beginner" system, which is easy to follow. Text: Render (if used): Blending: Background: ^we could use that as a general ranking system. Members could rank other members if they want to share their opinion, but the ultimate decision would be given by a Judge (or Judges if there're differentiating opinions, which is why an odd number of Judges is preferable). Also, there will be no actual member groups created for any level of rankings, however, I'm thinking of making small banner-things, similar to the FEFF Awards to recognize members. At the MOST, there'll be a group for Judges, but I don't see why that would be needed. Anyway, suggestions will now be taken. |

1. Hand-drawn art should not be included. I think it's way too hard to judge, and it just doesn't fit in with the system. If somebody wants to make a second, art-only one, go ahead, but GFX should be alone here. 2. I'll be a judge, and I think thats about good. 3. 4-tier system is fine. One thing I was considering is that maybe we should integrate the current fan-art contest in somehow. I haven't actually thought of a way to make that work, so stay tuned.

If you'd let me, I wouldn't mind judging drawings or GFX. And the easier and quicker the judging system is, the better. That tier one looks alright. I doubt this is worth a seperate member group and stuff anyway. A little spot in the sig for a sentence or maybe a banner would be good enough. |

I don't think we need 4 Judges at the moment, but if this section starts getting quite active, then Tiltyu would definitely be my next pick. Also, we need to finalize whether or not Hand-Drawn Art is going to be included or not. If so, then Ippo will be the single Judge (unless activity increases). |
