The artists should announce which one they're going for. I mean, if someone draws something that looks like an animal crossing bear, then he/she shouldn't post "I'm doing realism"

Anime and realism may be different, but you can still judge them off of the same general ideas. Does the drawing look good, are proportions correct, etc. And there's also a problem with seperating them, because some anime drawings could have realism in there. Tooaya's latest drawing has a anime feel to it, but the figure is still pretty realistic in my opinion. It's a bit of both.
