Eaichu vs Reaver Both had weak starts. Eaichu's second post was Godly, and he made very strong points. Reaver's was pretty decent. Eaichu's closer was just good at first, but then he added more to it before Reaver posted, and that actually improved it quite a bit. Reaver's closer was good and big and stuff, but the points he made weren't very convincing and were weak... In the end... I think I'll vote for Eaichu. I felt that his points were stronger, and Reaver used poor examples to counter them. Reaver, at the very least, has improved significantly recently and deserves to be considered a high tier debater. |

Eaichu vs. Reaver, huh? This was one of the closer debates I've read. Eaichu's first post was "lolwut", frankly. I couldn't understand what the purpose was in even posting it, really. It dipped into some points, such as the Move and superior defense, but it seemed like a post geared towards casual discussion rather than a hardcore debate. Reaver's counter wasn't anything dynamic either, though. After that, both started to get better, but I also felt that both debated some rather trivial points, and then neither had a real summary (e.g., something along the lines of "Lowen wins greatly against Guy defensively, and he manages to keep up offensively, so Lowen > Guy" or "Guy wins greatly against Lowen offensively, and he manages to keep up defensively, so Guy > Lowen", etc.). The closest anyone got to this was Reaver, in his last post, which was also frankly very good. Overall? Voting for Reaver. |

The judges are holding up the tournament. CATS, Reikken, and the others need to cast votes in two matches. I'm voting for Linoud. His points were backed up better and made more sense. |

I voted on Eaichu vs. Reaver already. Same here, Linoud. |

I'll vote Linoud. I would've voted Soundecho if points like this didn't exist:
Unexplained points and some odd information made Soundecho's points lose any meaning they had. Linoud presented his information in a better format and followed through with is points well so that his arguments were coherent. (Stepping in as a temp with Inui's permission). ------------------------------------------------------ Voting for Solid, Crysta didn't stress that Kent with the Handaxe/Javelin has amazing counter-attack ability over Guy, which makes him much better in the lategame, kept making very weak arguments (oftentimes ending with "Guy is better"), and Solid's posts all pushed Guy's leads over Kent very, very well. |

^ This. And Crysta didn't push her points strong enough and had a weak closer. Otherwise, she did really well considering the huge experience gap between the two of them. |

I was actually expecting this to be one of the main points in the debate. Guy has no answer to that in the lategame, where both have comparable offense on Player Phase and yet Kent has nearly twice the offense on Enemy Phase (granted, on weaker enemies, since the stronger ones oftentimes lack range). Unlike someone like Lowen, Javelin Kent is a good counter-kill machine. Commenting on my own debaet ftw? >_> |

I'm voting for Feez. His last post was just way better than anything Sentenal did. |

Sad to say, but it's true. Psio countered DH's "boobs" point, but DH didn't counter Psio's "Best background ever" point. So, voting for Psio. |

I can't believe DH would just squander like that... What a waste. Psio wins. Sentenal vs. Feez ---Inui: Feez Solid vs. Crysta ---Reaver (Alt): Solid ---Inui: Solid Those need voting. |

Fucking vote. We need the judges to vote or else we can't have the debates. Vote. Seriously. Wtf. I'm not asking for much. And there are a lot of judges. Where is CATS? I hope he comes back soon. He's actually a reliable judge. And Solide is h4x. |

h4x? Meaning I judge reliably? Thanks. I try to judge whenever I have free time. I can't vote on my match, though. K, Sentenal vs. Feez. Meh. I didn't really like the debate. I didn't even get a real laugh out of it (amusing, not funny). So, I can't judge it by quality. I'm going to have to judge by quantity. Feez had 2 points I could see; Sentenal had 1. I'd say "use some more stats, pl0x," but I'll just vote for Feez instead. |

Thanks. Going to have to wait for CATS to complete the other matches, I guess. Simon and the other judges aren't around. Judges Inui CATS Reikken Solid Simon Alternates: Dragon Hellfire, Reaver, Nick, Sentenal, Eaichu, NEB So basically we have five main judges, and then all top tier debaters are allowed to cast votes. |
