Good to see this subforum's already in action.  Text: Expert. I think this banner's easily has your strongest text out of all that I've seen. It's Century Gothic, obviously enough, and it's colors blend in with the background well. It also doesn't look that ugly. Nicely done. Render: Low Inter. The render looks decent as a whole, but some parts like the top right look screwed up. It seems like his blaster is being distorted using a very cheezy liquify/smudge. Some parts are also more contrasted than others. Blending: Inter. Blending is decent for most of the part, but that's just it. It's just decent, nothing strikes me as super great, and some parts look as if the blending is forced. Background: Inter. I can tell you used a variety of effects in making the background, but some parts just seem very forced and don't have the necessary flow to make it look good. Overall: Intermediate. |

Text: Very nice. It is bold and easily readable, and the subtle gradience makes it stand out from plain solid-colored text. Render: Good. You can tell that the main subject is a big fucking robot pointing a big fucking gun at you. I believe, however, that the smudging should have been confined to the gun barrel alone. It is evocative of heat distortion but it would have been better if it wasn't over the entire render. Blending: Okay. I can't tell the subtleties in the blending the way Feezus can. Background: Good. It's spacy. It's suiting. It's that fucking filter that makes it look odd. Overall: Pro-scrub Sojamania BTW

Text: High Inter/Low Expert. It's one of those texts where it's ridiculously simple to make, but it's pretty hard to make anything better for this particular banner. Render: Inter. IMO, you distorted it a little too much. Also, there is a too much empty space as a whole. The render should be a little bigger. Blending: Expert. I don't know if this was actually a screen shot or not, but the blending is really well done. Background: Inter. Could be a little more complex, but this one is currently pretty clean and does a nice job. OVERALL: Inter. |
