Inui was right when he said in his last post that it was a fairly redundant debaet. Anyway, Mekkah got bogged down worrying about Saul vs Ellen/Clarine, and didn't spend enough time trying to prove Saul > Marcus. By the last post, it sounded like he was almost admitting that Marcus wins all the ranks except Exp. So imma vote for Inui. Though, quoting a big thing from Reikken = fail. Use your own arguments. Fortunately it was a pretty minor point being addressed, so not a big deal.

A few notes: @Mekkah: Why is it better for Lugh to attack rather than heal and for Clarine/Saul to heal rather than attack? You made this point several times in your final post but didn't explain it. Inui didn't attack it, however, so it basically isn't a negative. I'm just curious, really. @Inui: Faggot, use your own arguments, don't steal from Reikken. @Mekkah: Inui pointed out one fact that you seemed to have gotten wrong, but I'm not sure about since I haven't played the game. You said Wyverns need 36 attack to kill Ellen, but Inui said they cap at 30, while you said they could reach 36. I'm a little confused. @Inui: You didn't do hardly ANYTHING to prove that Ellen > Saul. You said her avoid was higher, but Mekkah countered that adequately enough. The only thing you did here was continuously repeat "Ellen > Saul" without really backing it up. Not nearly as much as Mekkah did to prove that Saul > Ellen. Basically, if that was a Saul v Ellen debate, Mekkah would have EASILY won. Of course, it wasn't, so this is just a point that goes in his direction. This debate was really boring over all. No comedy, just stats and disagreements on many issues. Inui says Marcus should be used way more early on than Mekkah agrees with. Haven't played the game, so I'm not gonna say which of you is more right here. I don't know if Marcus should be used more often when he's good. However, Mekkah basically proved that Marcus caps out at chapter 8 and Inui completely agreed. That seems to be a very small portion of the game. CATS By the last post, it sounded like he was almost admitting that Marcus wins all the ranks except Exp. I disagree. He was saying that Saul helps Exp throughout the game while Marcus wins a few more ranks than that in the few chapters he's in. Mekkah did make it a significant point that Marcus' wins, while important for the short time that they are there, are not as significant as Saul's throughout the game. If you haven't guessed, I'm voting Mekkah. EDIT: Oh, and could someone vote for CATS v Yzarc?

It was close, close to a point of difficulty, but I thought that CATS's arguments concerning Marcia's strength were much more effective than Yzarc's simple MT comparisons and his AS argument in terms of Soren.

He showed how Largo isn't glass and actually slaughters enemies while Ulki doesn't have supports, has crappy offense, and takes the demi-brand from better Laguz. It was close, though. Jeigan definitely showed Ulki's big durability leads, but it didn't amount to beating the game better, sadly.

I didn't like the first posts of either debater, but the rest was awesome. CATS' second post was really strong, but his closer didn't impress me as much. Both of Mekkah's following posts impressed me a lot. While closers carry less weight because they're not countered, Mekkah's was still very good. CATS made some crazy points, and he admitted it and tried to justify why he made those points, but it was a lot of exagerration. Having played the game extensively, I can see where Mekkah's coming from with leveling up Lilina, for instance. Overall...voting Mekkah, barely.

As for CATS vs. Mekkah (the Lilina vs. Cecilia one), lol @ Lilina not being OHKO'ed by Steel Axe Pirates. They have 23 Atk and it takes 18 Atk to OHKO her at base. Mekkah made really iffy statements like that, whereas CATS did his usual thing. I'm voting CATS.

Pirate L8 w/ Steel Axe: 10 evade, Lilina has 100 hit Pirate L8 w/ Hand Axe: 20 evade, Lilina has 99.55% real hit (this guy doesn't OHKO her at base level btw, and he has 67 hit, so like 54 (58% real) hit on her) The latter one indeed does not OHKO Lilina. It was implied that the Steel Axe one's performance against Lilina didn't need discussing, since Lilina would attack at 2-range (and she always hits, as shown). Not that I'm trying to bugger you into changing your vote, I just don't like people misunderstanding what I meant. For Reaver vs Inui, I was heavily leaning towards Reaver during the first two posts of both, but then it all went FOREST FOREST FOREST which I found kind of gay (not needing a forest on enemy phase > needing one, after all), but nonetheless I thought Reaver was outperforming for the majority of the time. So yeah, voting Reaver.
