Technically you cannot destroy the Hero Lance forever. If it isn't passed down, it is dropped by some enemy General in Chapter 8 (either Muhammed or the one near the castle Blume stands on, both got a Hero Lance and I forgot which drops which). A similar fate goes for Lex' Hero Axe - he cannot pass it on, but exactly the same axe is dropped by Smith the Axe Knight in Chapter 6. It even keeps its kill count. Just wanted to note that in case you forgot/didn't know. |

And in any case, a first gen character's stats affect their kids just as much as passing down weapons will. The reason I didn't include ANYTHING about passing down weapons is because I basically cut off Generation 2 from the debate. Jeigan made some very false points. If I may point them out in case you guys totally missed it. >_>
Totally untrue. As I said:
Of course, there are minor exceptions when it comes to this, as the chapter is really confusing.
She doesn't "get" the Thief Sword. She has to buy it off of Lachesis. Only basic mistakes I could find. I could dig deeper but then it'd seem like I was debating an extra post. |

By "get" I meant that Fury is better user for the Thief sword than Lachesis. Sorry if it was confusing. |

I'm gonna have to go with Elto. Jeigan/Snake was giving Fury lots of things she really didn't want or need over anyone else... Like villages and weapons. |

Mekkah. Sentenal made some errors and didn't really show how Holyn's stats made him so much better for killing things. Mekkah also added some fun stuff. |

I'd say Sentenal. Even if he was a bit more boring and a had a couple facts wrong, he made it pretty clear that despite that, Holyn was owning Beo for at least 2 chapters. |

Mekkah At first, I was leaning towards Sentenal, but during the second and third round of posts, Mekkah's arguments were stronger. Sentenal's mistake about doubling was pretty bad, too. |

For Sentenal vs Sety, I am leaning towards Sentenal. I'm not officially voting yet since I might have to reread but Sety should just get some of his facts straight before posting them.
I don't know the exact chances of this either, but the chance of criticaling normally is Skill%. Lover critical is just a seperate sort of critical hit that has either 10% or 20% of activating.
According to PaperBlade's FE4stats.xls ALL enemies in the prologue have more than 35 HP. Lowest is L1 Brigand/Hunter/Mountain Thief with...36 HP. Note: iirc combat rank = battles/wins, should be x% or higher, in fe7 x = 40 iirc and it should be around this in fe4 too survival = not allowed to have more than 3 total battle record losses capturing = tactics basically Sety also seemed to be dodging arguments like here
Sentenal proves Holyn's offense is enormous, and instead of countering it Sety switches to Holyn's recruitment
which wasn't such a sturdy argument anyway because Ayra (who will always double Holyn even with a 6 wt sword as long as she gained one speed level-up) and Sigurd (who needs 2 speed level ups to tie Holyn but is a good candidate for the Speed Ring to make this easier as well as his Heirhein rush with Cuan) can do it quite comfortably, and so can Fin if he gets Prayer. That's my feedback. |
