When you can't make them see the light, make them feel the heat.

You are being such an idiot. With a forged Steel lance, people like Marcia and Nephenee actually have an offense that is good. They kill people in one round. Otherwise, omg, they don't. Same with Ike and his fail offense early on. Forged Steel Sword might help. Or hell, they can help your more inaccurate units too, since you can crank up your accuracy on the forged weapons. They cost like 2000 gold. You can easily afford one forged weapon, and then your normal weapons too. And buying Elixirs? WTF, I have healers, the only time I need an Elixir is if I'm not using Mist, and want Ike to fight the Black Knight. The only time you ever need forged silver weapons is like, the last chapter or two. Before that, they are overkill, with fewer uses. |

Actually, until Caineghis gives you the 20k in whatever chapter he gives you it, you have like no money and buying forged weapons leaves you broke. |

Only if you crank them up to ridiculous and unnecessary levels. Adding Crit, for example, is pointless and expensive. My last playthrough, I made it a habit to forge one weapon per chapter, and I never ran out of money. |

Plain weapons = more useful than forged? lolol Staves are nice. You can afford them even if you forge. Elixir's can't be bought til the final chapter nub. |
