Zihark is my personal favorite, though Stefan is good too, but really is only good when you first get him through the mid game. Later on, his lack of evasion and critical evasion gets to him. Zihark has all the good things that Stefan has (good strength and speed) but none of the bad. (Zihark can dodge like a motherfucker when fully supported. Really, the only reason to use Stefan over Zihark is that Stefan is overkill good when you get him. That said, the gap between how good the two are when you get Stefan is significant, but the gap between how useful they are isn't nearly as big, because Zihark is still really good, regardless of how good Stefan is. Also, you have Zihark for longer, he gives better supports to other people (He makes Muarim godly). And he's pretty decent late game, whereas Stefan will be probably your least durable unit. |

Theres a unused skill that does that same effect though... Its called "Iron Wall" I wonder exactly what classes would be allowed to have it. But i dont really have a favorite swordmaster.... They all have their points in appearance, and skill. The real battle comes with Zihark or Stefan. In Fe10 they are still considered the best. |

I haven't used Zihark yet, although I am gonna try after I finish hard mode. I'm planning to use Stefan to balance up the reduction in EXP, but I might use Zihark instead if I have enough bonus EXP or I think I train him up through baby-ing. I had already planned out the supports for my team of 9 (although I suck at planning supports most of the time), and with hard mode, getting RNG screwed is something I do not want. So I might use him. But so far, I have used Mia in 3 playthroughs, and 2/3 times, she has turned out wonderful. She once capped str, skill, speed, had 15 or 16 magic, 16 def or so, and with 46 HP. That's pretty good in my opinion. The Sonic Sword was the best anti-flying weapon with her. |

Stefan = Crit'd by enemies = phail Mia has very low strength, and Lucia joins too late and isn't that great. Zihark by default. And I'd say he's the most stable one you get. |

Those points you speak of doesnt happen for me on either Lucia or Mia... Even though Mia has the tendency to be low on str like a million times. |

Personal experience doesn't matter though. When you look at the numbers, you're just getting lucky. That's like getting RNG blessed and saying Isadora is the best Paladin. I guess I'll detail why I like Zihark the best of the four. Mia has a pretty low-level strength growth and poor defense and resistance. Even though she does have enough speed and luck to dodge most of the time, there is the chance that she can take a big hit, and she can't exactly do enough damage to the enemy to make up for taking a big hit like Zihark can. She doesn't work for an offensive unit well because she can't do a whole lot of damage, and she can't really defend either. Stefan, while he starts out as one of the best units at the time due to his having mostly high stats, Zihark will catch up to him in usefulness, simply because he has extremely low luck coupled with poor defenses. This means that he can't dodge and he can get critically hit very easily. As for Lucia, it's just plain difficult to use her when you get her. Despite the fact that she has some good growth rates, she doesn't do a whole lot of damage because at the time she joins she only has 15 strength. If you have to waste exp on a unit that late in the game, it doesn't make her very useful, does it? Zihark comes early in the game, starts out with a decent amount of strength when you get him to offset a slightly lower growth rate, and can dodge and do damage. Like Mia, there is a chance that he'll take a pretty big hit from the enemy thanks to having low defenses, but he can at least make up for it by doing a good deal of damage in return. |

So even in FE10 would Zihark and Stefan be the most useful in that game, as in when they were in Path of Radiance? Still I will see how good Zihark is on PoR because I have never used him... |

I kinda like Mia as opposed to Zihark. He gets better strength and defence but it doesnt matter as Mia (at least with me) is untouchable. Plus her supports allow her many more advantages then Zihark's |
