Speaking in terms of FE10 that is. Unless I'm mistaken, aren't they more or less on par statistically in FE9? o_o QFT. Shinon's giant level lead makes him easily win in FE 10. In FE 9, it's basically this, Jeff: Shinon pwns the earlygame for a while, while Rolf sucks forever and has to consume an excessive amount of resources in order to be good.

Posts: 181 Group: FEFFer Member #1,584 Joined: December 10, 2007	I think Hakado sums up my position nicely... my biggest problem has always been that other classes are better are archery than the archer class actually is =/. Warriors, for the most part, hit just as well because bows are usually an accurate weapon to begin with, and deal much more damage with them because of their high strength. Bow Paladins also have better damage and survivability, and furthermore are very manueverable, being able to take hit and run attacks. Mages fulfill a very similar function to archers (especially wind mages), and can counter melee or attack at range. FE10 begins to address the problem by giving Warriors fixed-damage crossbows and limiting the number and power of your bow cavalry, as well.

Generally they're not as good as their competition in the indirect attack role, and what good is an archer if everything it can do someone else does better?

Why do Archers have to suck so much...and worse, why are they dumbing down other bow users in FE10 to compensate instead of just making archers better? ;>_____>
