Firstly, I've heard that I can steal the killingedge from a swordfighter in chapter 2x by capturing him and not releasing him such that he will still appear later on for recruiting. Are there any more situations like this where I can take advantage of? Secondly, how do you RNG abuse in FE5? I know how to in 6/7/8, but 5 has no movement arrow eating up RNs  Thanks for your time. |

I don't think there's any similar situations to 2x Shiva, but that's hardly a problem considering you can technically obtain any weapon held by enemies in this game. RNG abuse is very easy in FE5 because even menus change RNs. Just go to options and turn animations on and off or something, and the RNs will change. Targetting an enemy with one weapon, then canceling and selecting another works too, I've found (even if the battle sequence is the same). Moving people works too. |

Thanks for the reply. I heard you could get more Daim Thunder (spelling, Olwen's prf Brave thunder weapon), is that from her brother or something? and I heard you could steal Fred's weapon too. He leaves as an NPC and reappears with the weapon again or something. No other such situations? Aw :D And thanks for the RN advancing tip. offtopic: btw you're a member at smogon right? just asking. I'm also a rather noob competitive pokemon player

If you manage to get Rifis to have a ton of Bld, have him steal Daim Thunder and the Thunder Sword from Fred and Olwen in Ch.10, then steal Fred's Thunder Sword again in Ch.11 before having Lief enter the room. Fred joins in 11x with both weapons regardless of whether they were stolen, so you get an extra Daim Thunder and two Thunder Swords despite that. It's not exactly easy, though. Daim Thunder is 12 Wt, and the Thunder Sword is 9. You'll probably need to do massive RNG abusing to get it that high, even with the Neir scroll, but considering that you were gonna do it anyway... |

Yeah, those extra Thunder Swords + 1 extra Daim Thunder just involve stealing, not capturing (I believe both Fred and Olwen are invincible in Ch10). The last fresh Daim Thunder comes very late, and you have to let Olwen talk to her brother (who is a boss) then run away with her so that you're not boosting him (they have an auto support). Yes, I'm the very same Mekkah from Smogon. |
