Nobody in a Nintendo game is as strong as Ganondorf. None of them are immortal and only able to be beaten by a certain special weapon and only get sealed away anyways. Who compares? Bleck or Dimentio? They don't have that immortality, and neither of them were actually successful in conquering their worlds like Ganondorf was. I really can't think of anyone else. Edit: Oh shit, Fire Emblem characters. I guess Ashera was pretty retarded. |

I look at it this way--Ganondorf has never been killed. Oh, they tried. But even the Sages phailed, epically. So he is effectively immortal, invincible, and only able to be sealed up, temporarily, by the very divine forces that hold Hyrule together. That is fucking insane. |

He was supposedly killed in Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, meaning the Ganondorfs from each half of the timeline are dead. Although I actually doubt he's gone forever. He is Ganondorf, after all. Ashera was retardedly powerful, so Ganondorf actually has some competition there. Maybe Dimentio, too. |

In Windwaker they stuck the Master Sword into his skull and he turned into stone. That bitch is dead. I barf at Ganon in Brawl, but with how nerfed Jigglypuff's rest is now, I figured it was down there also. Edit: And am I the only one who thinks that the LV 9 CPUs are a LOT smarter this time around? I think it's not bad training against pretty good human players who don't use techs all the time. |

There are probably some Legendary Pokemon that could be up there as well. Ganondorf's only claim to "Most Powerful Nintendo Character" comes only from his near inability to be killed. In actual combat power, I can think of alot of people who are superior. Samus, for one, is like one of the most powerful Nintendo Hero I can think of. Infinite jumps, screw attack while infinitely jumping (invulnerable while in screw attack+can tear through some walls), Plasma/Ice/Wave beam (armor piercing, freezing, and spread shot), missiles/super missiles, etc etc. Boost ability for crazy speed. Samus would kick the crap out of Ganon. Wouldn't kill him, but maybe paralyze him for life. And being immortal, and then eating out of a straw for the rest of eternity wouldn't be fun. |

I read arguements before about Samus being one of the strongest characters. Sadly for her, her powersuit does not have infinite power and it can be broken. Ganondorf's power is basically infinite and he can't be broken. |

It doesn't mean he has h4x armor either, it just means he can't die. He could be sufficently injured so that he wouldn't be able to pose a threat. Btw, I never read anywhere about Samus' suit not having infinite power. Never ran out of batteries in-game. Plus, her Power Suit is provides probably the most actual armor of nearly any Nintendo character. Just look at all the stuff that attacks Samus in Metroid games, and all the different environments it has to go through. Samus' offensive power would be too much for nearly every Nintendo character to handle. How many can fight in a Zero Gravity environment? How many can survive in the void of space? They would need to vs Samus. Her ultimate attack, is setting foot on the planet, the leave it, and then go back. Because once she does that, you know its gonna explode. Metroid 1: Blew up the Pirates base on Zebes. Metroid 2: Eradicated the Metroids on SR-388. Super Metroid: Blew up Planet Zebes. Metroid Fusion: Crashed a space station into SR-388, blowing the planet up. Also blew up said Space Station (apparently she only needs to set foot on a Space Station once to destroy it, as this happend in Metroid Prime and Super Metroid as well). Like I said, Inability to get killed =/= being the most powerful. |

When was he ever injured like that? He takes sword slashes, arrows, bombs, and all sorts of nonsense and he's just fine. There's no way a piece of technology, no matter how advanced, has infinite power. It's basic logic. Samus's offensive power can be handled by a lot of characters as long as they're not fighting the void of space or in lava or some crazy shit, which they aren't. That stuff makes her very versatile, not very powerful. Ganondorf isn't just immortal. He was strong enough to conquer a whole world on his own. He has insane magical ability and can transform into a super powerful beast. |

Link was able to damage him many times, with many different weapons, in battle. And none of the attacks Link does vs him are near the scale of something Samus would do to him.
But its possible for Ganon to be immortal? It's basic logic that when someone gets shot with a missile, they go splat.
Samus' armor would stop anyone using a sword, or fire, or hand-to-hand combat or something. That makes her>>many people. Then we have her beams. Plasma beam is not only a heat beam, it pierces Armor. Like, she can shoot through virtually any wall with it. Then that is combined with the Ice Beam. For lesser oppenents, it freezes them. So unless they are big as hell, like Kraid or Ridley, one shot from Samus will freeze them. Combined with Wave Beam. Basically a spread shot. You aren't gonna dodge it very easily at all. Then its semi-automatic, so she fires it really fast. Her beam alone would slaughter nearly any oppenent she faced. Then add on the heavy artillery of Missiles, and Super Missiles. Or Samus' Screw Attack, in which she can plow through walls/is invincible while doing so. Or her Speed Boost, which allows her to run through walls and stuff.
He didn't conquer it on his own, wtf. Plus, conquering a medieval world like Hyrule still doesn't mean he would have the combat ability to hang with the most powerful bounty hunter in the galaxy. |

When did you ever see Ganondorf get crippled or injured badly in battle? It never really happened. He got weakened and sealed away, and that's about it beyond the epicness of the latest two games he was in. Ganondorf was immune to Link's bombs and normal swords. If he was immune to those, I doubt Samus's attacks would do much. Ganondorf was only harmed by light arrows and the Master Sword, and the former was only to annoy him to the point where you can actually hit him with the sword. Ganondorf doesn't. He takes bombs and nothing happens. Ever throw a bomb at him in the games? Doesn't do anything. Who was Ganondorf fighting with? That's right, nobody. He even discarded his army of Gerudo thieves and just did it on his own. I think Ganondorf being able to own Samus massively in Melee shows that he can hang with her. He did have the advantage in that match-up, after all. Samus is indeed powerful and versatile, and her attacks were crazy, but she can't handle a dark king that is only damaged by blessed legendary weapons. |
