So, of course my ultimate goal is to have power over time Posts: 2,721 Group: Veteran Member #959 Joined: October 18, 2006	I know of a way to make the site spiffier, but it'll probably take a lot of work (or maybe it's easy for some people) I was thinking how neit it was that GTS Plus has all these links to other parts of the site with images, wall papers, members' pokemon, etc. Well, What if we became a good FE info source, kinda like how Eaichu's site was. I think it would deffinitely work since this site is home to the most knowledable FE players i've ever seen and a lot of us seem to know quite a bit about the games since we hold tournies, like, all the time. We could have a front page with an index full of links to each character and their average stats at certain levels and such. Yeah, it sounds like a big ass rip-off of some other sites but we have a pretty large number of veteran players of the series and we seem to be more active than some other sites. If it works than people will be like " Oh, I found the averages on FEFF" and then people will look us up and maybe drop by and check out the forums..... Just an idea and I know it sounds a bit much, but then again, I don't know how to spiffy up sites so it might be easier than I think it is....or harder....

And let me state for the record that post count RPGs don't, ever, work mechanically. However, it's member interest and forum activity we're aiming for here so a post-count element will be added to the current RPG. There are also going to be other changes and additions. Information will be posted once it's finalized and added. ~ Kovu

You need new people to keep something going. People don't just come back for nostalgia though. They come back because they like the community here, and it is awesome, and I don't feel like the only way to make it better is to bring in new people. That'd make it cooler, I guess, but not significantly.

It is also known that our current RPG is very balanced, fair, and has great mechanics. The problem is that our current RPG is incredibly boring. Aside from you Kovu, I doubt there is any more then 5 or 6 of our members who actually care about the RPG, and participate in it daily. There is practically no user participation, slow moving map battles, and a severe lack of excitement that should be present in a forum RPG. While returning to our roots may result in over-powered members, stat problems, and other failures, it would at least generate some interest.

We won't be restarting the RPG, more like revamp the entire EXP system. We are trying to make it as balanced as possible. We will hopefully have everything worked out soon.
