To address the first point, you don't need to play your characters in any order and your opponent doesn't know which character you've chosen until the game starts. To address the second: excellent, that means that everyone is equally burdened.

My rooming is horrible. Posts: 4,885 Group: Veteran Member #17 Joined: June 8, 2005	No. I tend to have more lag than most people, it lags worse on my side than others even though I opened a port for it. :x

No. If someone uses Marth or Sonic, two characters unable to function for real online even with minimal lag, and the other person uses an online king like Ike or Donkey Kong, they're done for. I'm going all Link in tournaments at FEFF because I can somewhat function with him and actually still have some fun.

So people who know which characters who aren't good online simply won't pick them. And since it's perfectly logical to say that each player will get a somewhat equal distribution of good/bad characters...

You can't avoid that boomerang, and I can do stupid shit with him.
