Or you guys could put in a Former Identities thing in everyone's profiles. Like under the joined date or something. But, then again some of those might get really long. >_>

Yet still, it takes just a few seconds to figure it out in most cases. Because your name at the time of your posts is taken to account, scrolling back a few pages on a relatively active thread will identify people. That's how I do it, if I can't tell right away that is.

Or maybe they are changing their identity permanently. I doubt it's for drama of any sort that they wouldn't give out their former identity. If they changed their name, maybe it's because they want to be known as that for some period of time? You could always just ask. I'd tell you straight. o.O I think making it into a rule that would have negative reinforcement behind it would be too far.
