Then seriously, what did you do to the whole FE debating? Honestly, I'd like to see it revived here. Heck, I'd like to see FE debating be revived in general. It has sort of died, and that sucks. And debating on GameFAQs is gay :angry: Could anybody answer my questions? Thanks. ~Tino

For two reasons. 1. Fire Emblem is a single player game, most debated games I've seen have been multiplayer. 2. If it weren't for the RNG that hates/loves you with different characters. It'd be okay to debate with, but since there is always different stats in every playthrough it's hard to stat fact from opinion. But as I said. I'm all for it.

Debating can go on and on, the whole time. For example, it can be decided that A > B once, and a couple of months later it will be decided that B > A, then some time later it'll be proven and decided that A > B, etc.

No it's fine, I haven't been Serene on SF in about an age, so people might not know the name I'm most recognized for in the FE community. Also yeah I haven't clicked there, but I've only actuallyed spent time on this forum for about. 6 hours.

So, perhaps FEFF could have a forum for "free debates." Basically, one person would challenge somebody to a debate about a certain character or something, and they can make up their own terms. One thing I never liked about FE debating was that the rules were too rigid. The competive debating thing has been used up, so maybe giving the whole debate thing another try from another perspective would work. Honestly, I don't see how it could hurt. You could still run the "professional" (for lack of better word) debates, for people willing to participate, but for others who are less serious, or perhaps too inexperienced they could debate more loosely. I think debating here at FEFF can also be a little intimidating understanding the different personallities as well as the different range of expertise in FE. Just a little suggestion, it's easy enough. I think it might be worthwhile for people to take it into consideration.

I myself used to join in, but I haven't done any debating in a while. I'd probably join for the heck of it if something came up, though.

There is, but it's been as inactive as the rest of the debate boards since well before you came back.

There is lack of interest for Fire Emblem debates, so therefore there aren't the debate tournaments that there once was. If you can generate enough interest to hold a tournament, feel free to host a sign-up topic or whatever. Generally Inui handles that stuff, so talk to him about it.

Or anyone else rather - I haven't talked to Solid or CATS in ages, and Reikken doesn't pop up often either. I'd debate anyone about anything in a heartbeat, but with all due respect, there seems to be so little competition...
