I suppose my only gripe with the argument lies in my current understanding of a hologram: as an image created by light with no substance. Consequentially I struggle to think of my brain as a hologram, espeiclaly when it has mass and volume which cannot be condensed.

It really fucks your mind over if you actually try to think about that kind of stuff.

My grandpa minored in philosophy. My mom took a class and hated it, but I think it's much more up my alley than hers. I'll definitely take the class, but I already have like five other things I want to major in. But yeah, I also freak out when I think about how things began. I mean, we just can't know everything. I hate to quote Rumsfeld, but there definitely are known and unknown unknowns still out there in spades.
