FF1 remakes > FF1, but FF1 remakes are still sub-par compared to most other later FFs. .. I suppose the same thing holds true for FE. ~ Kovu |

Well, I enjoy having the story and feel of the first FE game ever while having much better graphics and several big flaws fixed (and new ones added, lol!). |

I don't know if that really says much and i don't think a ds game being cheap has to be suckish or boring. Having a support system in the game isn't too much to ask for and if they kept it in the 2-d style of the previous handheld FEs, they could have saved money AND added more things to the game, like over the top attack sequences, supports....hell maybe even more (gasp) DEPTH!

How many feminists does it take to change a light bulb? Who cares! They don't change a thing "I'm an early bird and I'm a night owl, so I'm wise and have worms." | |

Mrgh. I think FE3 was a superior remake. The music actually sounded better on the SNES, and although the sprites sucked ass, they still had more charm than the rather disappointing faux-3D of FE11. |

After a while, the game just ceased to really appeal to me. The reclassing and screwing over like 40 people so I could have my team of 15 was fun, but with out supports and the backstory most FE games have I found it to be slightly disappointing. |

That game was only "better" because it included a sequel. FE DS is better than FE 1/FE 3 Book 1. |

Why? Also, please, stating your opinion as fact is never a good thing. I recommend you refrain from doing that. Just some advice. I personally think FE3 Book 1 was better than FEDS. Why? Because FEDS isn't hard, it's more annoying and tedious. Enemies are incredibly strong, but are still beaten fairly easily, also since enemies don't really tend to come in large packs, as far as I can remember (haven't played in a while). Just my opinion, really

- Much better graphics. - Music doesn't sound ancient. - It's in English, which is a benefit for us. - More characters were added. - Weapon triangle and other modern FE mechanics were added. - FEDS is indeed incredibly hard if you're on 5 star hard mode, so I don't know what you're talking about there. I've never thought so much in an FE game before. |

I think the game is dull but an impressive change from it's older counterpart. Is it fun? not really and it makes me sad. Also, it gives me the impression that the original wasn't all that fun either <__< i dunno, I just expected a lot more and supports were one of my fave things about FE because you could pick a favorite character using support conversations and stuff... |

shouldn't have to look online for bios to get an idea of what each character is like, imo |
