Is such a trend setter :D Posts: 1,605 Group: Judge Member #2,260 Joined: May 13, 2009	I don't know why but I have such a problem with how they seemingly guessed at the names. Maybe I'm being a lil' too worked up about this, but every time they say xane or palla or katria I wanna destroy the game

I mean the names you're used to are fan-romanisations anyways, so it's not like it's weird that an official translation is different. Now, Europe and America having a different translation... That's just stupid >_>

I can read the Katakana in the untranslated game and the "fan translations" are basically perfect romaji versions of the names and make sense and should have been the real translations. Marth's Katakana is "Marusu," which makes the most sense as "Marth" in English. Astoria is "Asutoria," another basically perfect translation. Even the bosses are fine in the fan translations: Jioru = Jiol. Perfectly fine.

Getting worked up over the official translation being different is pointless and stupid >_> Theyre official. Jeigan wasnt. Jagen is. And let's face it, it changes nothing. The archetype 'Jeigan' isnt going to change, this is just how IS wants it spelled.

The official translations are silly, especially if you're used to the actual names. Why would someone be furious with the whole game? It has flaws, but it's fun.

No supports, the characters seem boring this time around, units that join later in the game seem to suck hella hard compared to your starting cavys and that's a big let down to me since I thought some of the units that come in later look kinda kool. I don't like the more realistic battle animations. The map kinda looks kinda old...graphically. I liked the 2-D stylings of the older handheld FEs. And if they're gonna leave the mugshots 2-D why not leave the rest of the game that way? Ido like how the mugshots look now though. Some characters that I heard were great in the original version don't seem all that great now....I think someone mentioned some of the h4x characters being nerfed or something like that.... I like fe7 and fe8 hellovalot more than this one and I think they could have done A LOT more with this game since it's on the DS . Id unno, maybe I'm just expecting too much bit it IS 2009.
