Staff isn't doing much, either; from my perspective anyway. Fire Emblem really doesn't seem popular anymore, at least for this age group. ( I still love it, but everybody that still plays Fire Emblem can just go to FEP, or Serenes Forest.) There is no reason for three or four thriving Fire Emblem forums, methinks. And because Serenes Forest and FEP have actively updating websites, with a ton of recent content anybody looking for a FIRE EMBLEM forum will probably be more comfortable there. Very few others find their way here. |

It's more or less the same people at this forum or another, which is another reason. Fire Emblem's fandom has shrunk and the remnants prefer to be active at one community, not three or four. |

Not trying to make any excuses on my part, but there is lack of interest amoung the staff as well. Crysta and a few others have tried to do things, but saw limited interest from the member base. Blank is trying to get a new, smallish RP going up down at the EE subforums. Kovu and I were supposed to finish up the RPG and try to start a new, revamped version, but then Kovu got owned by life, and I can't do something that big by myself. |

I think the last couple of FE games have something to do with it too. I mean, whats there to talk about when it comes to the new DS FE other than how dissapointing it was. Not everyone here has a Wii so that could have something to do with the lack of interest with Radiant Dawn. We've also beaten the older FE games to death with repetitive topics and lame quiz topics. The only thing that I din myself coming here for is to discuss games that have nothing to do with FE and I come here before any other forum site cus I like you guys...well most of you haha. Like when we had that topic about RE5, I really liked talking to Sent about it but really, it seemed like it was only ME and SENT saying anything in depth about it while the few other members that bothered to post anything felt more like complaining than anything else (from what I remember) I think people just stop putting in any effort to alteast make one post about anything they find interesting. I mean, if someone is finding it hard to find a motive for posting in the first place, how will they even be interested in anything going on if they don't give it a try. Usually what keeps a topic going is when someone responds to another persons post, be it argumentative or not. If there is nothing to respond to , then there are no posts to begin with. I can honestly say I have been putting in an effort to start some topics but they're usually met with 3 word posts or posts that show very little interest. |

Aww you guys, this is making me depressed. surely there's something we could do? Maybe continue revamping our Role Playing and once we can get that fixed, appeal to members of FEP. I'm sure some people there only stay cause there's nothing better. If we fix this site up then we bring them here and it won't be so dead anymore. And I don't know what was the big problem with our old system. Sure we can do changes but nothing too much where it would take them more than a couple months. |

There's no reason for an FEPer to come here. FEP has a giant sprite archive, FETO, and it's own roleplaying boards. Only thing we've got is Jugdral and that's....not going well.
