Well, I didn't want to be a leader. At the time I had even less free time than I do now. And frankly, even now, I don't have time to be a leader. I'm working hard enough just to keep the RPG moving along as best I can. Without the responsibility of leadership I can focus completely on running the game. To a greater extent, anyway. That said, Arden and Askio should've chosen Grandbell, but they didn't. ~ Kovu |

Now why would we want to do that outsider? We are the true heart of Grandbell; and we will pump life back into the country you let become so weak. OC: Honestly, we have all sticked together because we work perfectly together. And honestly joint leadership works well for us. We do not easily give our loyalty to a noob who has yet to prove his worth. Anyways us taking grandbell back is good for the plot pot, and boy is it thickening. |

Well, actually I was originally going to join Grandbell under Laharl (as he requested-- to help him along the new RPG) but then you reminded me in PM of that promise we made back in CotFT. Kinda cornered me there. I didn't realize at the time Miletos and Grandbell were going to be enemies. Admittedly I kind of wish more people would join that country (and others, like Silesia and Yied). The RPG is more interesting when it's not basically The Adventures of Agustria and Miletos. (And I suppose Isaac to some extent). I was going to call you guys on being off topic-- but this is actually what the topic is supposed to be used for. Kinda funny. ~ Kovu |

That's always the way it's going to be, Kovu. Some people attract members... some dont. In part it has to do with standing in the community (Laharl's not exactly loved, neither is Tripz for example), in part with charisma (Which some people have... and some dont), and in part with connections (Like you CotFTians sticking together). And Agustria's adventures have been 'do quest battles and lend out units', so not like we have that much influence anyways

It also has to do with what the countries represent in the actual games themselves. You don't really take a high view of Yied when you're playing the game, since it seems relatively desolate and undesirable, while Grandbell is the place to be, with about seven holy warriors coming from their grounds alone. |

On the contrary, I love deserts. Deserts are awesome, assuming you have the proper supplies and stuff. (I haven't played the Jugdral games, to be fair.) I just joined Agustria because I get along with Tiaro and Hakado, and I'd been off the forum for some time. Joining a country with people I knew seemed like a good idea. |

All the other Libertine besides Blank and Bryars decided they were too lazy for RPG 2, and so far Bryars hasn't done anything (but at least he made his units). Which makes no sense given RPG 2 > RPG 1 in most terms. The only other cool ones are in other countries. If I had known Blank and I were going to be an island, I would have just helped out another country instead. >( |

Honestly the best way to attract people is to reach out, be a motherly/fatherly figure. When I first joined, no one really reached out to me (though some people did feel open to critisize me). Then Hakie reached out, and I became an Agustrian So reach out to the newbies, they're our future! *too preachy?*
