Country Map with Roads

Each country has a country leader, who manages all affairs of the state.

Each country also has a Second in Command (SiC) and a Third in Command (TiC) in case the leader happens to fall of the face of the earth. They succeed the country leader unless the country leader is overthrown.

A country leader can be overthrown by his citizens through battle. Each side may organize armies of up to twelve units, even if the units are from other countries (if the players agree to it), but the country leader and his army gets the Country Advantage.

Each country has an Emblem Key, which is typically held by the country leader unless he is daring enough to give it to another player. Do so at your own peril; the player can easily lose the key by having their holding unit killed.

An Emblem Key gives bonuses to the army it's holder belongs to, as long as the units have the corresponding affinity attached.

A country may have no more than six players and twenty units under their command. This is likely to be increased later.

Your units may either be chosen for battle or you may sign them up for a battle on your own accord.

This topic will be used to keep track of which territories are owned by which country and which territories are currently being fought over. Only one battle can be fought at a territory at a time.

In order to join a country, please contact the leader through PM.

Agustria

Agustria is the home of Eltshan's family. Crusader Hezul helped found Agustria. Agustria is located in the west side of Jugdral and north of Verdane. It is the largest country in Jugdral. Chapters 2 and 3 of Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War take place here. Celice was born here between these chapters. The country was plagued by Civil War after the Grandbell Empire fell, but was stabilized by Aless.

Agustria once housed the October Knights and was conquered by Wendel when he murdered the duke and duchess of Mackily (consequently his parents), setting off the Warlock Wars. Over the last century it's economy has slowly been recovering, but Agustria is no longer the glorious kingdom it used to be, and a large portion of it's inhabitants had fled to Grandbell and Verdane during the wars.

Weakness from the Warlock Wars left the country in an unstable state. Both Silesia and Grandbell were able to take advantage of this, conquering Madino and Agusty, respectively. Nodion began to rise to power, and began to stabilize the country, to defend it against outside threats with their Cross Knight battalion.

Grandbell

Grandbell was founded by Saint Heim. Its royal family resides in Barhara castle. In addition to Barhara castle, Grandbell traditionally has six dukedoms: Chalphy, Jungby, Velthomer, Freege, Dozel, and Edda. However many of these cities have fallen to outside forces. This country also has the highest number of descendants of the crusaders, contributing to over half of the crusaders (Heim, Fala, Baldo, Blagi, Tordo, Ulir and Neir).

Grandbell has been dubbed the "Kingdom of Heroes" because of it's long history of breeding legendary fighters. It was here that the Holy Knight Sigurd was born. When Alvis of Velthomer assumed power, he created the Empire of Grandbell, and conquered much of Judgral. Celice, son of Sigurd, eventually defeated the Empire, and returned the continent to peace. It used to be the base of the Children of the Frozen Twilight and many of them have since eloped with members of the Grandbellian royalty.

Following the Warlock Wars, Grandbell's strength has waned much from its former glory days of Celice. It began when they unexpectedly lost the battle of Edda to Miletos. The defeat there lead to another invasion from Verdane, capturing the city of Jungby. The loss of these two cities weakened Grandbell, and was unable to counter either nation. On top of this, a large influx of immigrants from Yied eventually overthrew the Dukedom of Velthomer, marking the lowest point in Grandbell's history. They have shown signs of recovery, however, as they were able to conquer the heavily fortified city of Agusty, and Chalphy successfully defending against raids from Miletos.

Isaac

The Kingdom of Isaac is the northeasternmost country in Jugdral and was founded by Odo in Gran 648. It is the home of Ayra, Shanan, Lakche, and Skasaher. Grandbell invades Isaac around the beginning of Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu. Isaac is known for being the land of Swordmasters. In Isaac, women are treated differently from other countries in Jugdral. Isaac is second to Manster in fertility, having many flowers and bushes and some animals. It has five castles: Isaac, Sophara, Tilnagogue, Ganeishire, and Rivough.

Isaac is defeated by Grandbell shortly before the founding of the Grandbellian Empire. Nobility from Dozel is put incharge with governing Isaac during this time. Isaac was the only country in Jugdral that did not participate in child hunts in the days of Alvis's Grandbellian Empire. Celice was raised here. According to Celice, the Isaacians suffered under Dozel nobility rule. It was also the first country to be freed from the Empire.

Isaac had also remained comparatively unscathed during the Warlock Wars, though there were battles fought in Isaac during the Guild Wars. A stalemate turned truce between the RBT and Sol Clan brought in much Silesia and Thracian influence to the country.

Manster

Occupying the northern half of the Thracian Peninsula, the Manster District is a confederation of several small holdings to withstand Thracia's invasions. It was founded by holy crusader Noba, the younger sister of Dain. Traditionally, most of the Manster District's military power has come from Lenster's lance knight brigade (Lance Ritter), though the other holdings have separate militaries. The Manster District consists of Melgen, Lenster, Alster, Conote, and Manster. At the onset of Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War the king of Lenster is Prince Cuan's father King Calf.

After the death of Cuan, Manster became caught in a fight between Thracia and the Empire, which the Empire won. Nobility from Freege would be put in control. Prince Leaf would eventually lead a rebellion against the empire here. Following the fall of the Grandbell Empire, Prince Leaf, and his Thracian-raised Sister Altenna, would return to Manster to rebuild the country.

Manster was briefly conquered by Thracia during the Guild Wars, when the latter kingdom became desperate for it's resources. About twenty years later, Manster finally managed to break free from Thracia (violently) and returned to it's habit of combating the neighboring warlords.

Silesia

Silesia is located north of Yied Desert and west of Isaac. It is the home of Levin and Fury. It was founded by Sety the Wind Crusader. It is the coldest country in Jugdral. Silesia was long said to be impenetrable to any force, due to the climate, Pegasus Knights, and Wind Mages. Silesia had always stayed a neutral country due to this, and simply focused on their own affairs at home. Even still, Silesia was conquered by the Grandbellian Empire. However, Silesia earned its independence around the time the Empire fell to Celice's Revolutionary Army.

Since the Warlock Wars, Silesia has become the home of many Pegasus and Wyvern Knights, thanks in part due to the influence of the Sol Clan and their Thracian allies. An influx of immigrants from Yied overthrew the government in Lubeck, causing alarm to the Silesia Royal Family, who closed the boards with Yied to prevent any further damage. The loss of Lubeck was damaing, but not wanting to begin a full-scale war with Yied, Silesia instead launched a surprise invasion of Agustria, capturing Madino to compensate for losing Lubeck.

Thracia

Thracia is a mountainous nation occupying the southern half of the Thracian Peninsula, south of the Manster District. It was founded by holy crusader Dain, the older brother of Noba. Because of the region's rocky soil and hilly terrain, food is scarce and the people are often hungry. However, Thracia is the nation that ridable-sized dragons are native to. Thracian knights who ride the dragons are famous as mercenaries throughout Jugdral, and contribute substantially to the country's income. Thracians have tried many times over Jugdral's history to conquer the fertile Manster District in order to provide food for their families, but all of the major assaults have been repelled by Lenster's lance knight brigade, the Lance Ritter, colloquially known as the "Wall of Manster", especially by the Thracians.

At the onset of Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War Trabant is king of Thracia. King Trabant had finally defeated the Lance Ritter in Yied, but was then defeated by the Empire in a fight over Manster. Although Thracia was technically the only country not to be conquered by the Grandbellian Empire, they were forced into a "Peace Treaty", which heavily favored the Empire.

During the Guild Wars, Thracia finally brought Manster to it's knees after the RBT crushed the Lance Ritter at the battle of Manster, though the victory was short-lived. They have since returned to trying to bring their neighbor to their knees, though their economy is now suffering greater than before without Manster's help.

Miletos

Miletos is the southernmost country of Jugdral. It is the country where trade routes to Jugdral meet. Chalphy dukedom of Grandbell is located near Miletos. Before the Empire took it over, Miletos was a small player in world affairs, but after suffering under the hands of the Empire, the country realized the need for strength. They have even gone so far as to capture Edda from Grandbell, in the years following the Warlock Wars.

Because it's the largest trade country in Jugdral, most of Miletos enjoys a lifestyle more lavish and expensive than it's surrounding countries. It also attracts a considerable amount of bandits and criminals, however.

Verdane

Verdane is the southwesternmost country in Jugdral, and where the Libertine guild originated from. It is Jugdral's land of forests and wildlife. It has absolutely no ties with Grandbell. It is ruled by kings without Holy Crusader heritage. Because of this, Verdane was considered to be a country of savages and barbarians. This image slowly began to change after the Libertine was founded in Verdane.

In Gran 757, Prince Gandolf invaded Grandbell while their armies were battling Isaac. This lead to Sigurd's counter-attack and campaign into Verdane, which would set events into motion that lead to the creation of the Empire of Grandbell. Prince Jamuka joined with Sigurd's Army during his campaign in Verdane, and eventually his descendants would return assume the crown.

Since the Warlock Wars, Verdane has actually grown in size and became known as the home of a great sage. Many mages who had fled from Agustria during the wars have remained in the lush solitude of Verdane. When Grandbell weak after losing Edda to Miletos, Verdane was able to conquer the city of Jungby with little difficulty.

Yied

Yied Desert is the land of outcasts in Jugdral. It was also the center of the Loput sect. The heat in Yied Desert is dangerous, and the Dark Mages have unusual techniques to distract everyone trying to cross the desert. After the Isaacian-Grandbellian war, Isaac's Balmunk was taken to Yied Shrine, although it was recovered shortly after. It was also in the deserts of Yied King Trabant of Thracia killed Cuan and Ethlin while marching across.

Yied was hope to many miracles as well. At the Fortress of Darna, the Gods descnended to lend their power against he Loput Empire, and gave the 12 Crusaders their divine strength. Phinora was the location wherein the New Crusaders fought Wendel to a standstill and eventually had to sacrifice themselves to defeat them. It has since become a sacred burial ground to honor those who lost their lives in that fateful battle... and a nesting ground for many dried up zombie mummies.

In the years following the Warlock Wars, many people of Yied began migrated out of Yied, to nearby cities such as Velthomer and Lubeck. Tensions between the natives and the waves of immigrants began to build, concluding with both cities being overthrown, and becoming part of Yied. With two new, fertile cities to strength the country, Yied turned from a nation of Outcasts, to a new national power.

Orgahil

Barely large enough to be considered a country, Orgahil has recently gained enough clout and has finally formed a government stable enough to compete with the rest of the world. Orgahil is still overrun with pirates and other seafaring folk, but most have come to respect and fear their High Captain.

Leader: High Captain (Constantly changing)
Capital: Orgahil
