Unlike in the previous game, Country Advantages only come into play when the army is in their home country and the army must have the country's leader among their ranks. If the army is in enemy territory or if the country leader is not among their ranks, these bonuses do not come into play. Example: a Grandbellian army will only get +10 to avoid when they're playing on a Grandbell map and their king is on the field. If they attack Isaac and fight on their turf, they do not use this advantage.
