So far, Golden Sun DS wins it all for me. then it would be the Kingdom hearts game, Left 4 Dead 2, and Halo ODST. more to be added ofcourse. |

I have hardly paid any attention at all to E3. Seriously. But, Starcraft 2 Beta should be happening some time this summer, does that count? Beta this summer would imply a Fall/Winter release

I guess it could count... If it was shown off at E3 then I missed it. :p God of War 3 looks awsome and hopefully I have a PS3 by then. I also heard there is gonna be a Soul Calibur game for the PSP (If I heard correctly, then yay). I'm still giddy like a school girl over Golden Sun DS, haha. I saw the preview they had for the new metroid game that was made with the help of team Ninja so it'll have some Ninja Gaiden flare but is it really that hard to put some effort into the graphics department of any new upcoming Wii game. Super Mario Galaxy 2 or whatever looks pretty and Red Steel 2 looks nifty (but then again, you really can't fuck up cell shading these days) Oh, anybody else excited when they announced Final Fantasy 14? Final Fantasy is so blasé these days. The Team Ninja/Nintendo collab on the new Metroid game looks very spiffy, though. I can only imagine at the gameplay. It seems to be a mixture of classic Metroid platforming and Metroid Prime-esque first-person sections. |

I know, its scary, but maybe change could be....good.  So, appearantly, there will be a little big planet 2 and another one for the psp.... I havent played the first one but I heard it was good. I'll deffinately look into the PSP one. Also, I could have sworn I saw a big ass pikachu while watching the coverage of E3, but I didn't see anything new involving pokemon....hmmmm..... |

IMO you shouldn't fix what isn't broke. Super Metroid is still regarded by lots of people to be one of the greatest games ever made. Metroid Prime excellent too, though people don't consider it "the greatest". There are tons of games out there that are just shooters, or are just hack-n-slash. If Zelda was all about the action, with other things put on the back-burner, it wouldn't really be a Zelda game, would it? Nor would it probably be as good. |

That's the thing, though. This is looking the first next-gen Metroid game to bring back the platforming aspect of the original games. Plus, it's Team freakin' Ninja. One of their best strengths is graphical presentation. Particularly when it comes to female characters, lolz. That plus Nintendo's history of engrossing gameplay? Something to look out for, imo. |

yup. Sounds neat cus I never played the other one. I didn't have the money to play it at the time and I got a 360 way after the 360 version of FF11 came out...sooooo never played it. Did anyone see anything new for FFXIII Versus? Also, on metroid. I don't think they're really fixing it as much as they are making it better. I never played the wii Prime that came out soon after the Wiis release but I liked the gamecube ones and I like Ninja Gaiden and LOVE DOA...So maybe it'll bea freakin awsome. But then I don't own a Wii....yet |
