http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=95098 Recently, top players in the BW community have started getting Beta Invites for the upcoming SC2 beta. Beta-opt ins were also going on for the general public, but at this point, opt-ins are probably closed. Blizzard has also been saying that the Beta will probably take place sometime this summer. So TeamLiquid has both interviewed people who have already received a Beta Invite (such as Nony, former top USA player, former eStro Progamer), and tried to figure out the exact data the beta will start.  According to the hard math right there, SC2 beta begins July 17th. Or maybe sometime before or after that. Who knows, its Blizzard. I opted in for the Beta, so I REALLY HOPE I get in, but even if I don't, Beta coming soon implies that SC2 should release sometime within the year. |

http://www.starcraft2.com/beta-faq.xml On a related note, people who aren't using Science to predict when the Beta will start are saying late June, like June 22ish. I doubt it will be that early though. YOU BETTER COME THROUGH FOR ME, BETA OPT-IN. |

I got a gallon of milk I just opened, and the Sell By date on it is June 23. Obviously this cannot be a coincidence. Starcraft 2 Beta will start on June 23. |

Apparently, SCIENCE has been disproven. If you are taking any Science classes, drop them. Forget everything you learned in Science class. It was all lies, as proven by SC2 not being released yet. Thankfully, although SCIENCE has failed, LOGIC is still there for us. According to LOGIC, SC2 Beta must come out on or before July 23-26th. If Logic fails us, I fear the universe may collapse in on itself. |
