When you can't make them see the light, make them feel the heat.

This is the Diplomacy Forum, and is where countries will officially deal with each other, in terms of declaring war, making peace, and things like that. Here is how this forum will work: If you wish to start a Diplomacy session with another country, be it for war or peace, simply create a topic, including both your Country's name, and who you are dealing with, as well as the purpose. For example, if I wanted to open up peace-talks with Verdane (and I am Thracia's leader), I would make a topic like this: Topic Title: Thracia-Verdane, Peace Talks Hello Verdane. I know you are all really gay and inferior to us Thracians, but I think it would be swell if we formed a peace treaty. Obviously if you want, you can go into more detail. Sometimes a country may want to set terms for peace. Sometimes you can simply say "We declare war on you", and that will be that. You will have to officially declare war on a country in this forum, in order for it to be an official war. You must be at war with a country, in order to have Country Battles against them. Just know that when you are at war, you will most likely be battling that country in Country Battles, and your members will not be able to join Quest Battles that take place in that country. |

In matters of diplomacy, all players must keep their place in mind. Do not interfere with diplomatic talks that do not concern you. Do not post in Diplomacy Topics unless you are somehow party to the topic at hand, or you are simply stating your countries official stance on an issue. Allow me to be specific with this. For example, let us say (for example) Agustria is requesting an alliance Verdane. Due to the topic at hand in the topic would be "Agustria allying Verdane", only those of Agustria and Verdane may take place in the diplomatic talks. Now, let us take this example a step further. Let us assume that Agustria is at war with Silesia. Silesia is NOT allowed to post in said topic, for any other reason than declaring war on Agustria's new ally. They are forbidden from posting in the topic, mocking their enemy (even if Silesia was mocked by Agustria in topic), or anything like it. The Diplomacy section can have alot of Roleplaying within it, and it only makes sense that while roleplaying their country's part, they would insult their enemy. It does not give you the right to post in the topic, "defending" yourself. Obviously since you aren't part of the diplomatic talks, you would not be present to defend yourself in the first place. Finally, let us assume that the topic at hand is not an alliance, but war. Again, only the Primary parties at hand are allowed to participate in the diplomacy. Foreign nations are only allowed to state their country's official stance on the conflict, be it neutrality, or taking a side in the fight. They may answer questions (if asked) to clarify their stance, if there is confusion. However, that is all foreign nations may do in that topic. The bottom line is this: Foreign nations are not to bicker and fight in Diplomacy Topics that does not concern their country. |
