 History… Throughout Orgahil’s history, the island has been ruled by the High Captain, who was always either the strongest or the most cunning pirate captain. In the recent year, however, power over the nation has been squabbled over by two ambitious pirates, both with distinctly different governing personalities, both with equal sway over their crews and Orgahil’s inhabitants. It’s been a bloody stalemate, and the few good Samaritans caught in between wish it would end and some sort of stability can be achieved. Both pirates are willing to offer treasure to units willing to help them finally destroy the other side. Which side wins the battle will decide the fate of Orgahil… at least for a short time. The Captains… Captain Taerl: A younger, brasher captain than most. His charisma and legends of him fending off ten men by himself make him popular. Cunning and tactics are not his forte; he wins his battles through brute force and getting his own hands dirty. He doesn’t respond well to being given orders himself, but his loyalty is steadfast and he sticks to his word. Captain Taerl offers one D-rank weapon and additional weapon tutelage (+5 w. exp) to all units who help him kill Captain Rethnor and his forces, in addition to he default battle rewards. Captain Taerl needs to survive and Captain Rethnor needs to die in order for these rewards to be applicable. Captain Rethnor: Once a former merchant prince of Miletos, Captain Rethnor has a wealth of experiences even a pirate would find enviable. He is now older, wiser, and wishes to take Orgahil as his retirement home. He prefers a more indirect approach to dealing with his “problems”, often hiring assassins and spies. In spite of his handsome countenance and good manners, Rethnor’s ruthelessness is not to be underestimated; more than once he has fed his own men to the sharks. Captain Rethnor offers 800 GP for Captain Taerl’s head plus 10 GP for every other enemy head brought to him. Captain Rethnor needs to survive and Captain Taerl needs to die in order for these rewards to be applicable. In addition to the above, winners are rewarded 100 experience, 10 weapon experience, and 400 GP. Losers are rewarded half that. Each side has 6 NPCs to help their side. If either side is short, more NPCs will be added to even the field. Player Requirements… - You can enter with 3 units. You’re free to enter more or less. - Total of 6 players may enter, 3 per side; first come, first serve. - Your units can’t currently be in any battles. - You have until July 4th to sign up and submit your unit stats.
