There only isn't free passage if you're attacking someone and want to go through our land >.> If you're aiding an ally, engaging in international affairs, swapping concubines, or arguing the price of Vulenaries in Silesia, we don't require a dime from you and would happily see you pass through our land. Realistically, this doesn't impact Thracia at all unless they have plans to attack Silesia, or if Isaac wants to attack Grandbell or Miletos (or further, but they don't have much in the ways of allies to pass through other lands without further requests). |

Not really. People have to request to move through our land if they want to perform an action on the other side of it. We have to say yay or nay to that. It's quite akin to Manster's making money by offering someone else a service. We make our money by allowing people to travel for conquest, they make money by selling stuff at reduced prices and shaving some off the top. Neither of us is actively participating in any events as anything more than a middle-man. Now, be honest, are you just in this to stroke the flames of war? You profiteer by offering a service. We profiteer by offering a service. Manster profiteers by offering a service. The only difference is that yours involves fighting, while Manster and Yied have profitted off of things that other people have needed that don't. In turn, you're asking for money and other rewards and technically a share of the exp, wexp, etc. that could be earned by another unit that would willingly go for free. We're all profiteering nations, we've all just established different means. |
