Hear the words of the Traders of Manster! As you read this, your armies may be gathering in force to crush your respective enemies. But even the most unseasoned commanders and kings know that without quality weapons and supplies, you may as well go charging naked into the ranks of the armies you face for all the good and effectiveness it will do you. We hereby send our merchants to you under the flag of neutrality. We offer you weapons and food and other necessities at a discount price! But know this, while our merchants are in your country you will welcome them and treat them with respect. While we do not desire war with any of you, we do not fear you. If you act in a hostile manner, you will be subjected to swift and merciless retribution. All of our goods will be purchased by us using our 10% discount, and then promptly sold to you in a five percent discount of the original price. But due to agreements in treaties, we have forbidden our merchants to sell to anyone our ally Miletos has declared direct war on. So until the conflict is brought to an end, Grandbell is barred from cashing in on this great deal. But when the war is over, one way or another, we will gladly open our doors to Grandbell. In an attempt to keep an organized topic that we can keep track of, this topic will now be used, rather than the other topic. This topic will have a format that must be followed for a valid transaction. First, you are to post what you are buying, and state its normal cost. Refer to this topic of normal cost of items. Then, you are to calculate what 5% of price of the item is, and state that. To easily find out the cost, just multiple the cost of the object by .05. Note that you must do this per item. Then you are to post how much you are spending (normal cost-5%), how much is left over in your treasury afterwards. Remember, stating what 5% of the cost is, is important, so Manster can know how much they can keep. Example: Quote: I am going to buy an Iron Lance. The normal price is 300 Gold. 15 gold is 5% of the cost. So spending 285 gold, and have 715 gold left in the treasury. Edited by Sentenal, Jul 22 2009, 07:24 PM.

Each of these are 500 gold. 5% of that is 25 gold each, or 50 gold in total. So that comes out to be 950 gold spent, and 190 gold left.

Not untill either Miletos ceases to exist or you sign a peace treaty. Well, or, Grandbell loses all it's territory, but then it's a moot point. Also, you cannot buy 3-10 range tomes at this point, pending a Judge discussion.
