I voted "NO!", because I don't like ridiculous rules such as banning characters to begin with. I mean, if people are going to analyze this game piece-by-piece and literally take it apart, shouldn't they take pride in finding a way to counter a (apparantly) very difficult character? Though after looking at articles that people will write...and write...and WRITE about Smash, I've got to admit that I really have no idea what competitive play is all about. @_@ Casual gaming FTW...! |

? Well, I imagine someone who is Pro-Ban would say something like "There is no way to counter Meta-Knight, thus that is why he has to be banned". I don't think he should be banned either, unless he had some sort of infinite on people that was relatively easy to pull off, or something along those lines. Metaknight is without question the best character in the game, and to my knowledge wins every matchup he has (or at least is equal). Hes better than Fox is in Melee. Hes broken as shit. That said, hes not unbeatable, so personally I wouldn't ban him, but I also hate Brawl. Edited by Sentenal, Jul 29 2009, 12:39 AM.

Snake beats MK, Sentenal. Ally has been beating Mew2King's ass recently. Anyways, this vote doesn't decide it all. The winning side gets a certain amount of votes added in the SBR's poll. This means that 1200 pro-ban votes really will amount to about 2-3 SBR member votes. Only we, the elite, will make the final call. |

Snake only beats Metaknight because hes a more badass character, therefore God sides with him. Honestly I don't see the point at having a community poll, if you really are only giving the community a small voice in the decision. But if thats the system Smash has decided on, maybe its for the best. Obviously most of the people playing Brawl aren't smart enough to recognize its not a good game, so I guess letting the inteligent people in the Brawl community decide is for the best. |

Fox isn't more busted because Fox actually loses or ties in matchups. Well, assuming we are only talking about legal stages, if we include banned stages I would agree (but who cares about banned stages?). MK apparently only losing to Snake is pretty good, not to mention there were never any movements to ban Fox. |
