It looks pretty kool and I figured I would like it since I like the Guilty Gear games....but I'm a bit turned off by there only being...what...12 characters? couldn't they add more? I mean it's 2009, up your game a bit guys. Anyway, I hear its good but I'm not so sure its worth the 60 dollar price tag. I know I'll eventually get it, but should I get it soon or just wait to buy it used for cheap on amazon?

It's a pretty chill fighting game, but I would have liked more characters. The story is too fucking long—"it's a fighting game, I don't care; I want to FIGHT." But if you do pay attention, despite all its eccentricity, the characters are awesome and the dialogue is often quite humorous. There's also a lot to unlock in terms of extras and it will take anyone a very long time to completely 100% the game.

Posts: 21 Group: FEFFer Member #2,285 Joined: July 6, 2009	I got it on PS3. I like it a lot. It's not as complicated as guilty gear, doesn't really play like it either. It plays more like the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fighting game more than anything, probably why I like it so much since I'm a jojo fanboy. Online is full of Jins and Noels but after a while you can beat those chumps like no tomorrow. I personally like Bang, Hakumen, and Iron REAL SOVIET DAMAGE Tager. Once I learned how to IB Ice Cars and rape D spammers shit's cake I main Noel, she's way to fun and I only use Drive in combos mostly/as a combo starter. I also play Ragna and a little Bang/Tager

I read 10 on I think the ign review....meh still too few. Is it so hard to have an intricate fighting game with 25+ characters? and is it so hard to add a Jedi to the selection of characters in the Create Your Own Character part of SC4. Why did they change Chun-Li so much? what's up with random fighting online and no lobbies so you can invite specific players?! fighting games these days

A game like Brawl/Melee gets stupid because along with learning top tier matchups you have to worry about the 5-7 characters in high tier, and the 5-8 characters in mid tier, and you have to learn the bottom/low tier matchups

I think when people say they want variety its 'cause they don't give a flying fuck how much more balanced a game with only 12 characters is. Soul Calibur 4 has over 30 cahracters and I use probably 20-25 regularly. Honestly, all bias aside, playing a game online with only 12 characters available sounds like it''ll get kinda old fast. I guess that's what the fuck I'm talking about in lamens terms

For insanse, you're basically controlling two characters if you decide to main Carl. More =/= better, dude. Also, if it was going to get so old fast, there wouldn't be a large community, there wouldn't be a ton of tournaments, and XBL wouldn't be swamped with players.
