So, I've not been very good at scratch spriting at all, but I tend to be decent at recolors (regarding Pokemon Sprites XD), so thought I'd give it a try. I threw in a splice of a different body too... Base sprites were these two, I took artistic license in interpreting how the body should look XD (Putting the hair on the original as part of an undershirt coming over, and shrinking the overall size, to make it not look weird.) That's actually pretty good. I would suggest editing out Pent's ponytail, however. It looks out of place. |

Yea, its meant to be part of the undershirt, but looking at it, I think it might look better if I turned it into a ponytail of the pink in his hair.... |

Yeah, if it's supposed to be part of the shirt, you might try a different color, or making it look like it's tucked under the cape. Pretty good for a first though! |

Well, if you see, the undershirt is purple, and the part going over is meant to be part of the shirt (obvious was his hair though XD), it's a lighter purple because it isn't underneath the large amount of hair or his head, so more sunlight is hitting it  But yea, I attempted to remove it, since no one seems to understand what I mean by the undershirt (the extra part hanging off would be like a pocket XD) Here's my attempt at removing the extra part/ponytail  |

If there's such a drastic difference in lighting, that should be reflected throughout the sprite and not just at that one particular spot. If you were illustrating a bright sunlight spot, you'd need to have a lighter shade on the cape as well. Even still, that's probably too big a lighting change for that to really come together. The newer version looks a good deal better. Keep it up! |
