I don't know if this is how it officially works, Arden, but my take on it would be that if you capture the routes that lead to a certain country, you can deny that country from outside help, if they are not able to find an alternate. I'll give an example. Lets say that Miletos captures Chalphy. That would erase a link between Grandbell and Verdane. In order for Miletos to provide help to Grandbell, they would now have to get Agustria to allow them to pass through their land, to get into Grandbell, to assist Grandbell (assuming that Miletos doesn't allow it). Don't take this as an official decision, this is simply how I see the rule working. |

Thats what I was thinking too, because if you control the borders then you control what enters. But thats for the judges to decide. Just the way we were both thinking makes the most sense. |

Indeed. There needs to be some sort of rule-- Miletos had to pay to get to Barhara. Agreed with Sent's above post. ~ Kovu |

question about criticals. Does the hit come in first, then the critical roll is taken into account? Or is it if you land a critical will the roll it doesn't matter at all? Im not quite sure on that. |

Can someone describe "one round" in arena style for me. For skills like renewal it seems like it should be either Unit 1 attacks unit 2 attacks unit 1/2 attacks( spd factors) skill activates (renewal in example.) then unit 2 attacks unit 1 attacks unit 1/2 attacks skill activates. Isn't this how it goes? Or does round count for something else? |

A "round" is one turn from each player. So after you attack, they attack, renewal then activates. I think. |

Basically, yes. Renewal activates on YOUR turn. So for example, you start. You dont Renew since you start out at all full Hp. You Attack Enemy Attacks Second Round is the enemy's round. So no Renewal. Enemy Attacks You attack Third round is yours. Then Renewal activates. And so it continues. |

I understand that, but take my last arena battle that I believe you did as an example. Lenst (Renewal) vs Lance Knight (Vantage) Lance knight first. Lance hits Lenst Lenst hits Lance Lenst's Turn from what you told me he should have healed here. Lenst Hits Lance Misses Lance turn Lance hits. and by the way it was judged it Lenst died, but he should have healed on his round allowing him to live through that second blow, meaning he should have lived. Am I right? |

Start of Round: You attack. Enemy counters. Enemy attacks. You counter. New Round starts, renewal happens. This is my understanding of it. |

O if that was reversed like enemy starts, like I posted above, then I start the next one, renew then activates? |

Yes. Renew starts on your turn. Note that Vantage might not make it too easy to notice but you still take turns. |

Hmmmm....that may have very well been the case. But I didn't think it mattered then since I thought if he went first it was his turn. Maybe that was just the confusion, I'll check. Thanks for the heads up. I really need to re-figure these skills out. ![]() yep, just checked, and from what everyone has said, my last round was judged wrong. I'm not complaining to complain for the sake of it, but this is the third or fourth time a round has gone ill for me due to skill mechanics not kicking in when they should, so I'm just getting slightly 'meh' about all of this.
