Charlotte smiled back, her eyes sullen. "I've managed to survive." "You catch on very quickly Sir Kettrick. I guess that's why you're such an excellent warrior. When you've noticed my 'striking looks' I've noticed your swordsmanship. I guess that does make me a bit strange doesn't it." Charlotte giggled to herself. She stopped trying to change the subject with flattery. "No.. I'm not. You really are a perceptive fellow aren't you? I'm from O- A far place. A place which I can never go back to." Charlotte began to pick up all of her things and crammed them into her sachel with speed. "I have training to do in the morning, Sir Kettrick... You're welcome to join me should you like." And with that, the strange girl took off, faster than Kettrick could utter a word. |

Kettrick started to reply, only to find that Charlotte was disappearing already. He sighed, and called after her, "I'll see you in the morning, then!" Poor girl. Something bad had obviously happened to Charlotte sometime in her past. It wasn't his business to pry, but... he did wish he could help. He sighed again, glanced upwards at the stars, and turned to go back inside. SUPPORT LEVEL INCREASED! |
