Dear Leaders of Agustria, It has come to word that you have decided to break of your alliance with Grandbell. I will not inquire into your reasons, though I am sure some are obvious and shared by many, and it pleases me that you have recognized that, while Granbell used to be a grand nation, it's tyrant is not to be trusted and is not tolerable in many ways. Therefore, while I feel that you may not trust Miletos at this point, I feel it is still in our best interest non the less for all parties concerned that we do not bare arms against you. Of course, I understand that individual hiring of mercenaries and the occasional skirmish are unfortunate yet unavoidable in many cases, so I do not hold that against you, I merely feel that open war is not viable nor desired by either side. If possible for the time we will remain our of your affairs as long as ours are not meddled with in some ways as well. Should you agree to this non aggression pact, perhaps the future could be better for us all. I would also like to visit your fine country once again, it has been far too long since I have been able to travel about, and Agustria is on the top of my list in visits once Grandbell is secure with its people as well. Dear, Honored Father Askio Dessar, News spreads like wildfire in these times I take it. I thank you for being so kind as to respect our nation's privacy, if anything you are quite respectful. While we may have started off as enemies, I would like to think this would give us a proper chance to increase relations between our nations. However I regret to say that we would rather not sign a binding contract, which turns allies against allies. We wish to be friendly to all nations and signing this agreement would shatter out alliance with Verdane as well as angering Grandbell, both of whom are neighbors and are generally unwise to face against simultaneously. So for now we must respectfully decline. I'm glad you share our wish for peace. In this world of greed, you do not understand how glad I am to see such morals father. But since war is an ugly truth, we must face the inevitable and plan accordingly. Agustria offers units to any nation in need. If you want to visit, Agustria welcome all visitors from all over the world. We would be glad to accommodate you in our own castle. Dear Honored Agustria, I understand completely that your nation will hire out mercenaries, and as I said I have no issues on that. War is war, and money needs to be made to uphold a country and it's people. And while I did not have the intention to force you into a binding agreement that would potentially harm you, I regret and apologize for it if it seemed to come across that way. Regardless, I feel that open war between our countries for now is not the answer, and as long as you think along similar, I feel content as I do not wish to mingle in your politics or perhaps harm your alliances and balance you have tried to establish. I wish you the best of luck, and hope that our countries can both prosper.
