Lazarus sat in a dimly lit room, waiting eagerly for his guests. There were enough seats for all of them placed around a circular table. Outside was a cloaked figure who would lead the guests in to where Lazarus was waiting. |

The prince of Verdane would soon make his arrive He sneered at the Miletos diplomats (if they can be called that) before turning to Lazarus and kicking his muddy boots on the table. "So, what's all this about, eh?" |

''Hello prince.'' Lazarus said to Evander. "Is this all I get? I had expected more to show. I suppose the other leaders all have their duties to tend to, but this is a serious matter.'' Lazarus then sighed a bit before turning back to Evander. ''I'm glad at least somebody came, and from Verdane no doubt. To start I'm sorry to call you away from whatever you may have been doing, but I need your help. I need your help to liberate Grandbell from Emperor Brahms. Before I go any further, will you lend me your support?" |

Kirakaas rolled his eyes as he predicted his companions thoughts. "Impatient as ever I see he is" Kirakaas slid down the roof slowy as he put his innate power of leviation into action as he slowly touched the ground, a gentle breeze would blow through his snowy white mane of hair as he looked at the door way. "it is time I think" He slid through the door with ease and made his way to the appointed room, but kept various daggers with in reach of his hands. As he entered the meeting room he got a sneer from the one he assumed to be the prince of verdane. "so we have a child who has no tact or manners" He would nod politely at Lazarus. "I am Kirakaas Drathir'barra, the head of security of Milteosian affairs, I apologise but neither lords of Milteos can attend this meeting due to the fact they are still in battle with the man that is the subject of this meeting, so I was sent instead being that I am the only one available of high rank" He straighted his dark blue cloak as he politely seated himself away from the prince of Verdane. "good thing Mae is not here, he would set that prince on fire for soiling that table... |

Evander grunted and folded his arms over his broad chest. "Grandbell isn't high on everyone's priority list." Verdane didn't fare much better, but at least their rule was stable. "Depends on how exactly you intend to carry out your coup, and who will replace the nut case. Normally you unravel your plans before you ask someone else to pledge their support, don't you? It'd be nice to know what we may be getting ourselves into." The prince didn't used to care about that part, but he was learning that it may be a good idea in these matters. Kirakaas and Xar weren't given much attention, as the prince couldn't read minds and had little interest in interacting with them, and suspected that their reasoning for showing up with such a paltry sum were similar to his own. |

Lazarus nodded in response to the Miletosian diplomat. "Welcome.'' He then turned his attention to Evander "A replacement was already been chosen. As you may be aware, it was believed that Emperor Brahms killed the Grandbell royal family when he took the crown. This is not true. I was able to save our late king's nephew from the massacre. He is currently well and hiding in a location I cannot disclose at this time. Once we remove Emperor Brahms from power, gods willing, he will assume the throne of Grandbell. Now you're probably wondering how I plan to make this happen. I intended to keep this matter a secret from the other nations and let Grandbell handle its own problems but it seems that we can't accomplish this on our own. We need help. Emperor Brahms and his forces are too many in number. Not only that, but then there's the Emperor's consultant, Vega. That 'man' has made things more difficult than they need to be. But the worst of it all is Emperor Brahms himself. It has come to my attention that he is in possession of a very powerful weapon. This weapon is the primary factor in my choice to ask for help. As long as he wields it we have no help of winning, but perhaps with the combined efforts of the nations of Judgral, we can win. It won't be easy however. I do have a plan should the Emperor choose to bring this weapon into battle. This weapon takes the form of an axe and is the reason Brahms was able to conquer the Grandbell army.'' Lazarus then paused for a minute, ordering another cloaked figure to pass drinks and food to his guests. "Before I go into further detail, do either of you have any questions?" |

Evander scratched at his chin thoughtfully as his brain slowly but surely began to make deductions. "How do you know this nephew isn't batshit too? Maybe it runs in the family. And I don't even know what this weapon is. It sure doesn't seem to be helping him a whole lot against Miletos, in any case." |

"Because Emperor Brahms and him do not share a blood bond. I apologize if there was any confusion, but they are not related in any way. And as for the weapon, Emperor Brahms has only used it once as far as I know and that was when he defeated the Grandbellian army. I surmise the reason he dosen't use it more often is because it has some sort of adverse side effect that manifests the more he uses it.'' |
