So allow me to update you on my life if you care.  I still work part-time at a UPS Store. It's a decent job. I'm still in college and I'm actually almost done. Information technology is my major.  It's important that you know that I am a legit pr0 at SSBB. I will rape you in Smash. http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=99590 This is important because it's my greatest passion right now. It's why I'm not active in the Fire Emblem community anymore. I'm now a member of the Smash Back Room, which is a group of elite players and hosts that discuss and decide important things for the community and tournament scene. I'm essentially the leader of New Jersey's Smash scene. I'm part of the trio of leaders of the strongest crew in the nation. I'm very busy with Smash.  There have been big problems involving my younger brother, which are explained briefly here: http://allisbrawl.com/blogpost.aspx?id=36783 He angers me to no end these days. He just stays here doing nothing but smoking, eating, and sleeping. Take note of a name I mentioned at the end. DugFinn is a tournament host in TX and a pretty famous cosplayer for anime conventions. Because I am amazing at Brawl, I can travel to TX once per month and win cash there to pay for the trip. I rape at doubles and low tier tournaments and I even won a $50 money match againt New Mexico's best player last time. Smash lets me see Diana frequently.  If you couldn't tell, I'm madly in love with her. I didn't even think love like this could exist. No, this isn't like when I was with Asvel. I care more about Diana than myself. I have already sacrificed a lot for her. I quickly became her best friend and most trusted confidant. Should she require my life, I would surrender it without hesitation. I am extremely serious about this. It is our destiny. We are meant to be. I have to win her love in order to survive. I know she loves me, but she's not in love with me like I am with her.  A few people at the last TX tournament decided to tell her I'm in love with her. I wasn't ready to tell her. Those people were jerks of the lowest order. I was randomly rejected the next day and put into a state of misery that hasn't ended since Sunday afternoon. Why? Why would that happen when we are obviously perfect for each other? We're both tournament hosts, we're both Smash players, we both love anime, we're best friends, we have dozens of common interests ranging from the same foods to yaoi to just liking rain a lot. Even a lot of our childhood incidents are mirror images of each other. What can I do? A lot of you know of my obsessive devotion to things and extreme loyalty. I have made my decision. She is the only one possible for me. I am the only one possible for her. No other human being can make me feel like this. And so I am now cursed to be eternally devoted to someone impossible to obtain. I can't even distract myself because all of my hobbies remind me of her. Yes, she even plays Fire Emblem. Wow, sounds like you've got a lot on your plate. I'm really sorry to hear about your brother. That's awful and I can't imagine living like that. I have little experience with this whole 'relationship' thing, but I wish you all the best. I hope things work out for you, for once. |

Cool with the Smash stuff. Sorry to hear the stuff about the relationship and brother issues. Hopefully your brother cleans up his act somehow, and you'll move on from this girl if she rejected you. I got a pretty big blow when my last relationship blew up in my face after over a year, but as time goes on it gets better. I still think about would'ves and could'ves all the time, but the important thing to realize is it's not the end of the world, though it might feel that way at the beginning. You start looking around and noticing things you hadn't after a while, and that there are a lot of possibilities, not just one. Feel free to talk at me if you need, too. I'm a pretty good listener. |

Aww I'm sorry dear, even though I don't really know you, I still feel empathy to you.. I hope things get better with this girl. Give her some time, maybe she'll think it over and reconsider.. And for your brother.. I can really empathise with that... I guess honesty is the best policy with situations like this, tell him that destroying his life like that hurts you. Try to encourage him to get out of bed and find a job/keep on moving.. And I'm glad to hear you're holding down a sucessful job and that college is going well. At least thats good right? (Random advice :3) |

Usually a relationship doesn't work when you both have a ton of things in common. A serious relationship needs a balance to compliment one another. And if what your saying is true you're WAY off balance, haha. What may seem impossible to you isn't necessarily the truth. You aren't omnipotent or all knowing, no matter how much you protest that you are. XP And if it were impossible it's only that way because of how you are at the moment. People change, even ones as stubborn as you. XP What may seem impossible now may not be to a new Lucas. And it seems to me like you need to change yourself to get past this. As for your brother...he's going to have to realize what he's doing on his own, if he's the same as mine, which probably won't happen....some people are just too hooked on that stuff. He definitely needs to at least get a job, though. If you want to talk PM or MSN me, though, I doubt you will. XP Just know the offers there. |

When that relationship I mentioned ended, I felt that way too. It will take time. You don't see it now, but you will. Words of advice often fall on deaf ears in situations like these (Which is what's happening here), but I'm sure you're sane enough to get through it. Predicting the future's a pretty difficult thing. You can't say what else life has in store for you later, so don't say that just yet, or you might end up eating those words. Personal experience talking. |

If anything, it's love that's been perverted - you shouldn't be obsessed with this girl to the point where she is more important than you in all ways imaginable. What happens when you die, and are then incapable of being with her in the physical sense? What if she dies; is your life now meaningless entirely because she's no longer in it? You're still very, very young - you just turned, what, 21? And in college? You've still got your whole life ahead of you, and it sounds like you've got more important things to worry about. It's one thing, I suppose, to have been in love with her, but if you really did lover her, when she told you that it was over, you'd have respected her choice and gone off in your own direction. If it's meant to be, cool. If not, it's just marked off as an experience. "I have made my decision. She is the only one possible for me. I am the only one possible for her. No other human being can make me feel like this." Gonna throw your life away before it barely even got started, huh? One of the lowest levels of a man is when he's alive yet doesn't have a life to truly call his own. Other than that, keep doing big things in SSB if it's truly your calling, and I wish you the best in the situation with your brother. I know what it's like to worry about your brother, and want him to make a change. In order for that to happen, though, I think you'd be better served if you conquered your problem with Diana first, because his situation is a lot worse than yours.
