depending on the jurisdiction, the amount of money stolen could quantify as 'grand theft.' i dunno if there's restitution, though. if he's already spent the money, it's gone. |

um the police would have shown up and done...what exactly? beating something like fraud and someone stealing your bank information is a paper trail and shit like that, not calling the cops lol |

Your father could maybe get the bank to withdraw those charges. If he has usual spending habits, he could use these as an exhibit that these kinds of expenditures were out of his norm and therefore fraudulent. I know some banks run credit monitoring like that nowadays to prevent just this sort of thing. And fraud is a crime. Your brother can be held legally accountable, you know. |

I don't know your dad, but I had a brother with drug problems, and my parents were pissed off most of the time, but you know it's still their son. I'm willing to bet your dad feels the same way.. even if it is some crazy bullshit like that. I mean, I can't see any other plausible reason why he wouldn't kill him.
