Ok, so remember how I mentionedmy power went out then came back on with the strength of an angry god and killed a few things in my house? anyway we bought a router from someone for like 5 bucks, which was awesome since it's a 100 dollar router. So I was on the phone with the tech guy for like almost an hour and got it to work and shit so now my wii has wifi access and so do my laptop and ipod (still havent tested my DSi or my PSP). I tried connecting to xbox live and the shit won't work. I have this router and this wireless thingy for my xbox. So on my old router it was just plug in and go and this time I'm having trouble with the new one. I tried doing that restarting shit, I think I have up to 6 connections(that's what I think the guy had me set it to, but either way I have 6 wifi using gadgets in my house), I tried putting in the user name and password on the additional settings in the CONFIGURE NETWORK option on my 360...I just don't know what to do! it tells me my router or modem may not be automatically assign an IP address. I don't know what a static IP address is so.... please help;___; |

lol you're going to lag so hard on wireless. But anyway. Try plugging the router into the Xbox and seeing if that will work. When and if it does, go to the network information and write down the details about the connection. Then unplug the router from the Xbox and try manually inputting those settings to see if it works wirelessly. From what I can tell, the router isn't the problem (I was tempted to make a snarky comment about how there was probably a reason it was sold for $5). It may be the bridge. |

So I did what you said but I havent given the last part a sh ot yet. I was thinking it could be my wifi receiver but my dsi just got wifi access today after trying to connect several times yesterday and my PSP still cant get online.  difficult day. over an hour on the phone calling 2wire and att and nothing. RAAAAA
