Sawyer however, just stood there trying to come up with a wise joke. Jin, Rose, Sun, and Sayid buried the black dude and then went to the Flame station to find Bernard's body, but he was gone! Rose goes all Hulk on us and starts smashing things. Desmond saw what a pervert Kelvin was and ran away from a hot chick! (You don't do that man!) he demands to escape and then flees carrying some letters. (Weirdo) The Others find out about Miles being on the island! Juliet performs the surgery on Jack and he now has to rely on a cheap 2 dollar watch to keep him alive! Scene ends with Jack saying goodnight to Shannon and me running out of Kleenex tissue! Nathan escaped and is now rowing a boat back to the other island! He is heartbroken that Kate does not love him. Damn too many mooshy stuff for my manly self!! Ben thanks Ana for freeing him, but he is up to something. Somehow he knows about the freighter and also reveals in his flashback that The Black Rock thingee revealed the location of the island! He also reveals he wants to kill Richard!! Gabriel talks to Boone (Oh wow he actually appeared again...) and is now in the orchid getting ready to go back to da future ![]() Locke over hears Ana talkin and wants to blow the submarine up. (Oh...oh) By the way what the hell happened to Hurley??? Arzt is taken to Room 23 where he cannot be brainwashed. Karl saves his daddy and now more mooshy stuff will happen today... The James Ford Chronicles - “A familiar sight” “That was close” an exhausted Sawyer said. “As soon as Keamy realizes what's happened he will be right on our tail” Frank shouted. “Don't worry about Mr Potato Head, the next time I see Keamy he will be as good as dead” Sawyer said as he loaded a pistol with six rounds, “He will pay for all those innocent people he has murdered; Gault, the Doc, Minkowski, gosh darn it the psycho probably hung Regina as well”. “Keamy and his soldiers will be jumping on that zodiac right now and will be fast on pursuit”, Naomi added but she was soon interrupted by Frank who shouted at the top of his voice, “There it is”. Frank pointed in front of him as the rest of the group: Sawyer, Naomi, Daniel and Charlotte gazed out of the helicopter window to see The Island. “Now we have to warn my friends” Sawyer said as he stuck his pistol in his belt. Day 29 – 1 - More mooshie stuff happens today Leslie Arzt It was early morning. Arzt had escaped the barracks thanks to Karl’s help, and the duo camped just outside of the sonar fence. “Morning, Mr. Arzt.” With a lionous yawn, Arzt rolled over. He was disoriented at first, but then recalled where he was. The two had gotten Arzt’s bag from his room prior to their leaving, but neither had used the headset or goggles that night. “Good morning –“ Arzt wanted to say ‘son’, but he supposed he hadn’t earned the right to. “Hey, thank you for helping me last night.” “No biggee. You know how much I hate those people.” A little part of Arzt’s heart broke. His son hated. It didn’t matter so much when Karl was just some random kid – a tool. Now, though, it mattered quick a bit. “So what are we gonna do?” Karl asked him. “Well, I was just thinking yesterday that I wanted to go on a little adventure,” Arzt said with a false sense of brightness. “I’m not 6, dude, I’m 16. You don’t have to talk to me like I’m a kid,” he chided. Arzt was quite taken aback. He flustered for a moment, insulted at first, then decided to let it lie. He wanted adult, he would get adult. “Listen, kid, a few days ago, a group of us survivors went to the Power Station and blew it up,” Arzt began darkly. “That was you? Woah…” Karl said, reverting to the kid he attested to not being. Arzt smiled in spite of himself. “Yeah, that was me. I had a little help from Hen-“ the name caught in his throat, “from my training,” he concluded. Arzt folded his hands and looked at his feet. He was ashamed of what he was about to say next. “Well, there were nine of us or so, and I don’t know how many of them made it out, if they did at all. I really think I need to go back to the Power Station and make sure everyone got out ok.” Eyes that were usually skeptical examined Arzt with brimming respect. Arzt head was held low in his shame, so he didn’t see it. “Listen, Karl,” Arzt said hesitantly, “I’m not a good guy. I’ve done all sorts of stuff to be ashamed of. I deserted your mother, I work at a stinkin’ Mr. Cluck’s Chicken Shack! I’m a loser,” he concluded, nearly crying. “I don’t deserve a son. I foul everything up. But I really want you to come with me. I don’t want to do this alone.” Karl’s answer was a hug. It may have been the first genuine hug Arzt had ever gotten. “Sure, man, I’ll come. Just don’t blow me up, alright?” Arzt chuckled. “Alright –“ he cut off the ‘son,’ but he did say it quietly in his mind. And Karl could of sworn he heard him think it. DESMOND Day 29 Entry 1 Desmond had walked aimlessly through the jungle all night. His heart was heavy. He thought he knew Penny, but he had come to discover her secrets. He carried with him proof of her other life. A box full of letters. Correspondences between her and kelvin documenting their relationship. Since fleeing the barracks, he had yet to thoroughly read through them. He had been too busy coming to terms with the anguish brought on by the discovery. The green of the jungle had abruptly come to an end. Desmond stepped onto the soft fine sand of the shore. The sun rising above the deep blue of the ocean had painted the sky a beautiful array of warm colors. Stumbling upon this empty beach was just the sanctuary Desmond had needed. His weary body fell back onto the sand. The box plopped at his side. Desmond could no longer refrain. Now was as good a time as any. He opened the box and took out the first letter. It was internationally postmarked in Iraq and dated before Desmond had ever met Penny... Dear Kelvin, This first month without you has been real difficult. I knew it wasn't going to be easy once you're leave was up, but I never thought I'd miss you this much. I guess it's my own fault for falling for a military man. At least that's something my Father can respect. Anyway, I hope you keep yourself safe. The media gives the impression that the Gulf War may be winding down. I can only hope that means you'll come home sooner. Love, Penny. Desmond folded the paper and reinserted it into it's envelope. He stared out at the endless ocean for a moment. This was going to be more difficult than he had anticipated. As he reached to pull out the next letter, something stopped him. There was a sound about in the air. The dull thumping of helicopter blades began to swell off in the distance. Desmond stood up and raised his hand to his brow to shield the glare as he looked around. There... Out over the ocean... He could not believe his eyes. A helicopter drew closer towards the very beach he was standing on. Desmond began to wave his arms and shout with excitement, "HEY! OVER HERE!" He then noticed that the chopper seemed to be in trouble. It wavered back and forth and the sound of it's blades had significantly slowed. It suddenly started to free fall. As it did, he saw the lone pilot jump into the ocean. Desmond did not hesitate. He immediately sprinted across the beach to the water and dove in head first, frantically swimming out to help the island's newest arrival. |

Locke Day 29 The Search begins... He had walked to the north east just as he was so accidentally informed. It hadn’t taken him long to reach what seemed to be the others camp. The complex was quite large, seemingly modern despite the lack of modern resources and technology. Another strange factor was that some of the buildings had power. It seemed that the tempest wasn’t the only source of power on this island. He searched for this submarine for hours. The main reason for it taking so long was that he had to creep around without being noticed. From time to time he heard people walking around chatting. Every time he heard peoples voices approaching he stopped to listen. “When did you get power back then?” “Oh I got it two days ago, how about you?” “Got it this morning, I woke up and my bedroom light was on. I was amazed and relieved” “Do you know how they managed it? You know the survivors. How the hell did they blow up the tempest?” “You think they got some explosives from the stores?” “There have been no reports of intruders here so I don’t know… maybe” “I think we need to talk to…Ben…for… answers…” The last part of this conversation was too quiet to register due to the distance the people now were from Locke’s listening ears. All that Locke knew was that they kept explosives somewhere in this complex. He was going to have to find the explosives to use them for the destruction of this submarine... |

Hurley Day 29- Decided... Locke had left Hurley alone on the beach. It had been over a day since they had departed and Hurley was worried. He hadn’t seen a single person, friend or foe in hours. He had seen Vincent once running in the distance but was too slow to catch up to him. That was the only moderately interesting thing to occur to him. Nonetheless he refused to move from this deserted beach. Waking up in the morning seemed to give Hurley new life as he felt full of energy and needed to occupy himself. He had debated the evening before whether to go and look for someone. He had fallen asleep before deciding. With his new found energy it seemed that his decision was made. He would search for someone, anyone. But first he needed food… Going over to his mango pile which Locke so generously gathered for him before his departure, he grabbed 5 of them sat down with his feet in the breaks of the incoming waves. The feeling of the waves soaking his feet along with the sweetness of the mangos momentarily made him forget his was on an Island unable to leave. He was snapped back to reality when a huge wave crashed all over him. “Dude now I got to walk all wet!” H shouted as he jumped up. Noticing on of his mangos had been taken by the ocean; he watched as it floated away… it was easy for some to leave… |

Gabriel Day 29- The Plan is formed... He had found the orchid, it looked like a greenhouse. The size of it seemed fairly large. It had large glass panels as you would expect a garden greenhouse to have only twice the size for each one. Trying to see what was inside he circled the area around the greenhouse. It seemed that the plantation inside obscured an outsiders view of the station. Thinking of a suitable way to gain access he paced back and forward mumbling to himself. He had thought of plans ranging from breaking a panel and forcing his way in to acting like a Trojan horse by posing as a delivery man. Both seemed to farfetched especially the latter due to the fact he wasn’t equipped with the suitable ‘workman’ brown Dharma jumpsuit so fashionably worn by his minions at the tempest. Finally he had thought of it. He was indeed a high ranking member of the Dharma Initiative meaning that he could have authority over most people working inside this station… that was it… he had to persuade the guards that he was sent to inspect the standards of the station. Trying to remember his company ID code he made his plan. “Right I approach the door and tell them I have been sent to check their progress. If they ask for identification I will give them my station code for the tempest and my company ID number…”He mumbled to himself. If they accept me then all will be well. However if not then force must be taken.” As he said this he tightened his grip on his pistol. “Right here I go…” |

Day 29-1 Cindy Chandler If she just reached out a little further… Cindy stretched to her utmost, but she couldn’t maintain pressure on the foot pedal and still hit the button on the wall. She had already been soaked for messing it up the first few times. Cindy had spent the night in a cage right across from where Jack was imprisoned the day before. He wasn’t there now, and Cindy hoped he was ok. She vaguely thought of what Jews during the Holocaust must have felt when they watched their fellows marched off, then chastised herself for the irreverent reference. This was hardly Holocaust material. So Cindy busied herself with trying to figure out this big machine apparatus in the cage. It had a chute, and a few levers. There was a large button on one side of the cage, and a foot pedal on the other. If you hit the pedal, you got soaked by water. If you hit the button, it gave you a little shock. She was glad that she hit the button before the pedal. She picked up a coconut that was in the cage, reared back and prepared to throw it while simultaneously stepping on the pedal and – “Morning Cindy,” Amelia said to her, interrupting Cindy’s preparations. Cindy subsequently dropped the coconut onto the pedal, and water squirted out a bit from the hose. “Oh, hey, Amelia. Come to visit the prisoner? Did you bring me a bright scarlet ‘A’?” Amelia smiled. “No, Ms. Prynne,” she said, returning the reference. “But this does present us with quite a pickle.” Cindy sighed in frustration. “Goodwin and I never did anything. It was harmless flirting, and we didn’t even kiss. Besides, he wasn’t wearing a ring. How was I supposed to know?” Amelia frowned. “You didn’t?” “What know? No! Of course not.” “Your background suggests that you may be amenable to non-monogamous relationships.” Cindy snorted. “Man, word gets around. So much for the Dr.-Patient relationship. Yeah, I was raised among polygamists, and part of me accepts that, but that’s not what I want, and I wouldn’t even dream of something like that without consent from all parties. This clearly was not that case, AND WE DIDN’T DO ANYTHING!” “Let me talk to a few people, Cindy. I can’t promise anything, but I think I can get you out of here,” Amelia said. “Oh, and Cindy, you may be having a guest across from you in the other cage. Please don’t get into any trouble.” Cindy had a puzzled look furrowing her brow. “Yeah, sure. Well, thanks,” she muttered. Then she looked up at her. “I never met anyone with the name Amelia before. It’s not very common anymore.” “It isn’t?” she mused back. “Yeah, I suppose it was back in the early 1900’s when Amelia Earhart was big.” She responded with an indiscernible expression, but no words. “I take that back. My aunt was named after her. We always called her ‘Meeley,’ or ‘Millie.’” “That was my nickname as a little girl as well.” A wry look entered Cindy’s eye, but she chose not to press it. “Well, I appreciate your help, Meeley.” Amelia smiled. |

The James Ford Chronicles - "15 degrees, 23' 42" North, and 158 degrees, 15' 23" East" "Three" "I know, I know the co ordinates to the island" Naomi screamed, "Just please don't shoot him". "Well why don't you share the co ordinates with me" Keamy asked as he pointed the gun towards Naomi. "Naomi don't tell him" asked Sawyer as he looked on at Keamy's rage. "Shut up redneck" Keamy said as he turned the gun onto Sawyer. "Wow! you must be the master of nicknames, he called me redneck, oh no what a insult, well duh of course I'm a redneck and proud of it" Sawyer said trying to calm things down, he then added, "Being a redneck is much better than being a fat loser". BANG! Keamy shot a bullet past Sawyer's head, everyone backs away from Sawyer. "Wow" Sawyer said shocked at the close call, "I will shut up now". "Naomi tell me the co ordinates?" Keamey dragged his gun back over to her. "Ok...ok I will tell you 15 degrees, 23' 42" North, and 158 degrees, 15' 23" East" Naomi struggled to say. "Thanks for telling me Naomi, now I guess we don't need the Captain". "Nooo!" BANG! BANG! Gault took two bullets in the head, the crew looked away in shock but Sawyer looked on then he stirred at Keamy's eyes. "What are you all stirring at get back to work" Keamy demanded, " Boys keep a eye on the crew don't let them speak alone...and lock up the redneck". A mercenary pointed his gun at Sawyer, Sawyer slowly lifted his hands above his head and was escorted to a room in which he was locked up inside. “Not again” Sawyer said to himself in disappointment. |

Miles, Day 29-1 "So, Mr. Walking Stick, what's your name?" "Yemi," replied... Yemi, the previously unnamed mysterious stranger. "And what's up with the stick?" asked Miles. "It was my brother's. It holds significance for me. It binds us together, in a way, much as the fact that we both crashed on this rock binds us." "Wait, you were on the plane too?" "A missionary plane. Did you want to ask me questions or did you want to find the boy? Follow me." Good call on that one, Straume, Miles thought, remembering his initial assessment of Yemi as someone who would allow you to confide your deepest secrets, but would only provide you superficial information in return. He followed the African through the jungle to a clearing, surrounded by what appeared to be electric pillars of some kind. "You'll find the boy in one of the buildings beyond. I can go no further," stated Yemi. "Now is your time for redemption, Miles. Find the boy. Protect him from Ben. Redeem yourself." Miles stared at the buildings beyond. He then turned as he said, "Yemi, why can't you help me with..." He was gone. |

'There's something I've noticed about this island Jin,' said Sayid in a mock philosophic tone. Jin was busy dicing up some carrots to have for dinner. Rose was in no state to cook - she was in the front yard being calmed down by Sun. 'There is never a dull day here...' smiled Sayid. 'Too true!' laughed Jin pulling out a bag of potatoes from the cupboard. Suddenly Rose's name was shouted from outside... 'Rose come back! Bernard's not out there!' Squinting through the kitchen window they could just make out Sun running after Rose nito the jungle. 'Don't worry, I'll go. Never a dull day...' and Sayid was gone from the cabin and disappeared after the women into the trees. Jin took a moment to clear his thoughts. There never was a dull day here. And just as that thought had entered his head, he heard a very strange noise. A key was being turned. Springing around but keeping his kitchen knife intact, he searched the cabin with his eyes. The front door was wide open, Sayid had just left. The door to the medical room was still open. The door to the subway was a pile of wreckage on the floor. That only left one door. The previously locked door rattled, scraped, clicked and after half a second's silence, opened. |

Day 29-2 – A Long Arzt Post (are there any others?) Leslie Arzt The duo of Arzt and Karl prepared to go hiking to the beach for the beginning of their quest. Arzt pulled out his list, and Karl looked over his shoulder: Patchy Guy (?Other) Goodman The Aldo The other Other. “So,” Arzt began, “I crossed out the people that I saw back in the hatch. That leaves… the Patch guy – he was one of you, right? Then Goodman-“ “You mean Goodwin, right? He’s one of ours too,” Karl offered. “He’s really not so ‘good’ though. Real prick.” “Really? No, it must be someone else. This guy was a real nice guy. I’m a great judge of character.” “Nah, I’m pretty sure. He was sent to spy on people from the plane. Ben sent him.” “Hmmf,” Arzt concluded. “Well, then there’s also Aldo and the other guy, plus Mr. Locke and the Stewardess from the plane, and Gabe.” Karl giggled. “You called Ana Lucia a Spick?” “No, I didn’t, ahm, it was, erm… a mistake,” he said, hastily crossing it out, then scribbling over most of his racial references. “No one was supposed to see all that,” he said self-consciously. “Are you a racist or something, Mr. Arzt?” “Well, no, ahm, of course not!” He declared confidently. “I have nigg- I mean, black, erm, no , ahm, African American friends like Hank!” (whom he shot) “I believe that all people are, like, created equally by God, and we hold these truths to be self-evident, and that, ahhh, we should all be able to have skin that is the right color, or, I mean, guns.. or, erm… free speech and, I ah – No, I am not a racist,” he finished confidently, reminiscent of a South Carolina beauty queen. “Well now, anyway, we, erm… have gotta find these folks,” Arzt concluded. “Even the Chinese ones?” Karl grinned wickedly, leaving Arzt flustered. “Well don’t worry about Mikhail – Patch guy. He’s alright. I heard Ben and mom talking to him. And don’t worry about the guy was there with Aldo and mom, Jason. He wandered in the day we lost power, but he was sick or something. Haven’t seen him since he went over to the medical facility at the Hydra,” he said longingly. “And Aldo, well, yeah, you should just scratch him off anyways. He’s a waste.” There was something about Aldo he couldn’t remember… Arzt eyes bugged out for a second as he interpreted Karl’s comment. Equal parts disapproval for his son saying such mean things and appreciation that he didn’t like his mom’s boyfriend warred in his mind. “You didn’t like him, huh?” Karl responded with a look. “Well, I’ll put him last on the list, but I’d like to know what happened to everyone. Officially, I was the general of this little mission. And a good general goes back for all his men!” “He wasn’t your soldier, Arzt, he was an enemy. And a douche. Let him rot.” Karl declared, and Arzt didn’t bother to argue. To be honest, he wasn’t very motivated to. “You know what, some lady named Cindy came to the barracks, too. I think she was a flight attendant on the plane. Is that her?” he asked, with his finger pointing towards the ‘hot stewardess’ line. “You thought she was hot?” he asked incredulously. “I suppose…” he trailed off, not really agreeing. “She ain’t my type. Her hair’s too short.” “You have a type?” Arzt asked in befuddlement. Man, Arzt was only a dad for less than a week, and this was already coming up? He was dreading it. But he had to do it. “Listen, Karl, I know I haven’t been around and stuff, like a real dad should, but I, well, I need to talk to you about something real important. It’s about boys and girls and when they…” (part 3 will come today. It will be PG13, though, so ask your mommies and daddies before reading) Edited by DarthHaggis, Dec 1 2008, 06:00 PM.

Miles, day 29-2 Now what? What in the heck am I supposed to do now? How am I supposed to get to the kid? And... oh crap, I forgot to get back to Michael. He's gonna be ticked when he finds me again. I would be. Well, I guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I'll probably want to burn that bridge when I come to it. I'll be much better received with his kid in tow-- how to get to him? I guess I'll have to do some recon. Miles slowly, carefully, walked the perimeter of the invisible fence-- he found it to be an electronic fence of some kind, because there was some type of weird noise eminating from the fenceposts-- maybe this was one of those virtual fences like they were going to put up on the Mexico/U.S. border? He stayed in the jungle as he circled the compound, making certain no one from the barracks could see him. He had a close call, where he thought someone heard him when he snapped a twig, but Miles scurried off undiscovered, and the one man patrol wandered away, oblivious to the fact that he was being scouted. I have to be more careful, thought Miles. Just then, he noticed two men talking in a small clearing, just outside the fence. One was significantly larger and more rotund than the other, who appeared to be much younger. The big guy looks like... oh HELL no. Lost in his disgust at who he saw, Miles took another misstep and a loud CRACK of a small branch rang out through the small clearing where the men sat. Both jerked their heads in his direction. Miles sheepishly grinned at his old companion, and gritted his teeth through his fake smile. |

CHARLES WIDMORE Day 29 Entry 1 Charles Widmore was hardly a patient man. Much of his wealth and success was attained by acting on restless impulse, but when it came to his daughter, he had a propensity for self-restraint. The ruse was up. Widmore had become privy to what his daughter had been up to, but to a limited extent. Penny's always known about his obsession, so why would she try to sabotage things? She's always known that the quest for the island was his life's work, and she had accompanied him through many expeditions, helping him unlock more of Hanso's secrets. Maybe he should've never involved her. He wondered if her participation had lead her to discover the truth about the nature of the island, resulting in the stirring up of her own selfish interests. To Widmore, that would be the best case scenario. His worst fear was that Ben had gotten to her. He would not put it past his rival to stoop so low as to recruit his own daughter. He sat her in his office, trying to get to the bottom of things. "So you've sent your own little team to MY island. Why would you do this?" Penny knew of no response that could satisfy her father, but she definitely could not tell him the truth, especially not now, after his own men were en route. She's been able to keep Desmond safe all this time, she wasn't about to give up now. She went forward with a lie. "I was doing it for you." Widmore looked confused. Penny continued with convincing sincerity, "I know how hard you've worked for this Dad, I wanted to surprise you. I found it, and I wanted to secure it for you before I told you about it." "Well how did you find it?" Her lies turned to truth, "We listened." She paused, watching her father once again squirm in confusion. "The old parchments... The ones we uncovered in Siberia... My team was able to translate Hanso's cryptic markings. We knew where to find it because we knew how to look. We set up a listening station in the Artic Circle to detect electromagnetic pulses around the Earth. Exactly one week ago, we got a reading in the South Pacific." Widmore stood up with great amusement, "HA! Hanso you sly dog! I bet Ben never saw that coming!" _____________________ Widmore awaited more news on Ben. The Black Rock Ledger was of the utmost importance to finding the island. Suddenly came an unexpected knock on the door. To Charles's surprise Ben had arrived without escort. Ben was empty handed. "What happened!?" Widmore was incensed. "Calm down Charles. I escaped." "You escaped?" questioned Widmore quite flustered. "Yes Charles. I'm quite capable of taking care of myself you know. I disabled my captors, freed your men, and they drove me back here in their car." "Well what about the Ledger?" demanded Widmore. "It never left the auction house. It should be on it's way here in the mail. Probably get it today as a matter of fact." Widmore growled at first, then smiled broadly. He knew they could work together... and Ben knew that they couldn't, but he kept that to himself. Edited by Zsinister Dobre, Nov 26 2008, 03:52 PM.

Ana Lulu Day 29 Ana woke up on a hard surface, the ground. She got up and opened her eyes...not grass or gravel, but a floor. She was indoors. Ana sat up and held her head. It started aching a bit. She looked around to see a square room...it was fairly cold and relatively empty. There was a table in the centre and a glass wall at the other side. She walked over to it and hit it hard..nothing...it was tough glass. Ana walked over to the other corner where she noticed a survailance camera. She shouted in. "What the hell?" She threw her arms in the air. "I rescued your man, Ben...and you put me in here?" She sat down, pissed off. This was not good, not good at all. Then, the door opened. A blonde walked in holding a plate. Her, that chick...Juliet. "You" Ana said. "Get me outta here...you said" Juliet covered her mouth and nodded in the direction of the camera. "Sssh" Ana sat down. "I brought you some food" She handed down the plate. Juliet bend down close to Ana and began whispering. "You didn't do what I asked...I asked him to be killed, not brought back.." She spoked very softy and fastly. "You have to play along for now. Pretend you don't know me. I'll try get you out in a few days, but for now, please co-operate" She stood up again and put on a smile. "Enjoy the food!" She walked out and closed the door behind her.
