Day 29
Entry 3

"where's Kelvin?" demanded the helicopter pilot of Desmond at gunpoint.

"How do you know Kelvin?" asked Desmond.

The man looked on at Desmond, sizing him up, "You're not one of them, are you?" he said with a heavy Portuguese accent.

"One of them?" reiterated Desmond, "No." he scoffed, "I'm not even supposed to be on this island."

The man's expression changed. Lowering his weapon he queried, "Desmond?"

"Aye... And who are you?"

"My name is Mathias. I was sent here to bring you home."

Desmond ran a gamut of emotions. First shock, then elation, then dismay, "Home? How do you plan on doing that with you're helicopter under the ocean?"

"That is why we need to find Kelvin." insisted Mathias while pounding his fist into the palm of his hand. "He can help us. Where is he?"

Desmond looked away to hide his exasperation. He kicked a bit of sand. All he could do was just come out with it... "He's dead."

Well, actually, next time for good.

It is time to close. This song is over, it's all behind me. I should have known it, she tried to find me... (10 points for the band who plays that song, and the name of that song)
