CHARLES WIDMORE Day 32 Entry 1 Charles Widmore had tried reaching Captain Gault all afternoon, but his calls all went unanswered. He stood in his office letting out his frustration, "What the bloody hell is going on there? I knew I shouldn't have trusted Gault! How could I be so stupid? I should be in total control of these matters! I should be there! Next time, I rely on no one. I should know by now, it pays to just do everything myself!" __________________________________ Charles thought he had doubled crossed Ben, freezing all his assets and making off with a translated copy of the Black Rock Ledger. He did not realize that it was Ben who double crossed him. Ben cut a deal with the translator, Thomas Mittlewerk. Following the fraudulent translation, Widmore had arrived in Bermuda a day ago. He was searching for the island in the wrong place. Widmore sat in his lush hotel suite going over Mittlewerk's translation: "Be warned. Her shores are protected. Sickness and ill will may befall those who breach her perimeter. Passage is safest when reached from below the surface." Widmore picked up the phone and dialed the front desk. "Yes hello... Can you tell me which of the seaports here in Bermuda house any submarines?" Edited by Zsinister Dobre, Jan 13 2009, 03:41 PM.

Day 32 Cindy Cindy was amazed at Amelia’s transformation. A 100+ yr old woman had changed into a commando. They landed the glider about a half mile from where Harper had landed, and they camped that night in the woods. Amelia had created a fire, killed a wild turkey, and had it roasted on a spit within an hour. She had found some herbs for seasoning, and found fresh water as well. They slept the night with the two splitting watches for what Amelia termed only as, “dangers.” In the morning, Amelia looked no worse for wear, whereas Cindy was dragging. It was incredible. Then, the next day, they hiked a half-mile up and down rocky terrain . Amelia claimed to have identified Harper’s trail, and she said it was headed towards the Orchid station. Amelia ducked, bobbed and weaved through the bushes and trees with no cuts to speak of, making very little sound. Cindy spent half the time picking little seeds out of her clothing that had taken up residence as she passed by different weeds. She hated weeds. Two hundred yards away was the Orchid. They were towards the top of a hill, and they could see much of the facility from this height. They had heard gunfire on the way up the hill. Amelia somehow produced a set of binoculars, astounding Cindy. “It looks like there are soldiers of some sort outside of the Orchid,” she commented. “None of flight 815 were soldiers, were they?” Cindy paused, puzzled. “There was an old Iraqi commando,” she recalled, closing her eyes and thinking. “There was a US Marshall, a CIA op, and one or two veterans, but none of them had uniforms or anything. And none of them had weapons like that,” she said, observing the three as Amelia passed her the binoculars. “Harper seemed to think that Goodwin had others with him. She said, ‘Be careful not to push any of them too fast.’ Could she be talking about an army or something?” Amelia just shook her head and muttered to herself, “What are you up to, counselor?” She then reached behind her and removed a pistol from her belt. Cindy had had no idea that she had it with her. Amelia handed it to the young flight attendant. “You can use this,” she said, not asking if she knew how. “What will you use?” she asked trepidaciously. “My charm,” she smiled darkly as she removed the small dark rod from her belt. She flicked her wrist and it extended into a cane. Suddenly, she was the hunched over old lady again. They walked down the hill to the Orchid, seemingly unobserved. The soldiers had gone into the Orchid, and no one else had been seen. As they got closer, they could hear Harper’s voice shouting. “…get your hands off of him! You don’t want any of this, man.” There was some shuffling and indistinguishable conversation between several men. As they got closer, Amelia and Cindy could see through the green-house like walls of the Orchid and they saw Goodwin, bound and seated in a chair. One soldier stood in front of him with his rifle aimed at his chest. A second soldier was behind him, apparently armed with a knife. Cindy twisted her head a little so she could see around some of the vegetation, and she saw that Harper was standing by some sort of dilapidated machine with a jug in one hand and some sort of ball in the other. Another soldier approached her with his rifle held slack. “Whatever the hell that stuff is, miss, put it down,” the approaching soldier said patiently. “All we want are answers. We won’t hurt you.” “You cut my husband!” she screamed back, rearing back to throw the glass-like ball in her hand. “So, honey, what’s the range on one of these things?” Goodwin gritted his teeth, in obvious pain. “’Bout ten feet. Don’t let it touch you if you do it, baby.” Harper began pouring the jug into the machine, and the machine started whirring to life. Goodwin’s eyes bugged out in his head for a moment in alarm. “S&^t, girl, that’ll kill the whole island.” “’Cept us and everyone we got downstairs,” she said. “Just like we planned.” “Ma’am, stop. STOP!” the soldier yelled at her, and she stopped pouring. “You guys are making this way too difficult. All we are here for is Ben Linus. We get him, and we leave you psycho’s alone.” “Don’t you pour anymore of that, lady. The man said stop!” the knife-armed soldier behind Goodwin commanded as Harper looked like she was gonna resume pouring. A tense silence followed. “You’re looking for Mr. Linus?” Amelia asked as she hobbled into the green house using her cane. “Oh, I can help you find Benjamin!” she said excitedly. “What a fine fellow he is. He’d be happy to have visitors,” she chuckled as the soldier with his gun on Goodwin allowed her to approach and she pinched his butt. He sort of brushed her off, but was reluctant to take his gun off of Goodwin. “Who the f*&k is that?” the knifeman demanded irritably. With the warmest of smiles, Amelia responded, “I’m Amelia Fricking Earhart,” and stabbed the gunman nearest her with her cane, which shocked him violently. Harper threw the glass ball filled with the neurotoxin at her gunman, and it burst as it struck him, soaking him. She then dove to the ground, burying her head in her shirtsleeve as the man began chocking on his own phlegm and spasming. From outside, Cindy watched Goodwin fling his head back, head butting the knifeman. The soldier stumbled backward and re-approached Goodwin with the knife, only to find Amelia with one of the other’s rifle aimed at him. “Not a good idea, sonny. Not a good idea at all.” |

Day 32-2 Leslie Arzt Arzt watched in surprise as Karl ran to the boulder girl and took her hand, “Alex!” he said breathlessly. The two shared a moment of communion, but then turned back to the group. When Karl saw the dirty look Ben was giving him, and Alex saw the astonished look Arzt was giving her, they let go of each others’ hands. Ben strode over and took the key from his daughter. It was actually an irregularly shaped disc with a longer key type mechanism sticking out of it. Ben placed it longwise into an indentation in the door, and turned. The door slid open. “Viola,” Alex said excitedly, leading the way into the dark tunnel. Karl, Ben, Arzt, Miles, Desmond and Gabriel filed behind her. As they walked, Ben pulled reached over and flipped a breaker. The hallway they were in was rather short, and it opened into a vast underground cavern. Arzt lumbered to the end of the hall, and was shocked to see the cavern full of construction equipment. Ignoring everyone else’s astonishment, Ben walked down a metal stairwell reminiscent of a fire escape that was bolted into the rock walls. “What’s all this for?” Arzt asked. “Oh, that’s how they built all those stations!” Karl explained. “You didn’t think they just appeared, did you dad?” “What? No, of course not…” he muttered back. “This is your dad?” Alex asked, “Oh my gosh, Karl, how come you didn’t tell me?” “Well,” Karl said nervously, looking at her dad, “Things have been kind of crazy.” “How exactly is this place protected?” Arzt asked. “What, from our friends up there?” Ben asked, “They won’t be getting through that door, even if they find it.” “Well, what about, ahm, the other stuff on the island, like the bears and, you know... other stuff.” “What do you mean, Mr. Arzt?” Ben responded absently as he fiddled with a console on the wall. He then walked over to a large fuel hose and attached it to a dump truck. His daughter was checking the pressure on the tires while Karl watched without comment. For a moment Arzt tried to enjoy the view as she bent over, but then wondered if that would be incest to look at his son’s girlfriend. He decided it wasn’t because she didn’t grow up knowing him, when he realized that Ben was talking to him. “Oh, what? Nothing, I guess,” he said absently, trying not to look at Alex. “Your boy likes my daughter,” Ben said as he finished loading up the gas. Arzt nodded the affirmative. “You’re not helping his case,” he said dryly. “You,” he pointed at Gabriel, “Load up in the back with my daughter, Leslie here, and his son. You, Straum, I want you and the Scot up front with me,” he commanded as he hoisted himself up to the cab of the giant dump truck. Everyone shrugged at his commands and went where they were told. Ben turned on the vehicle, and it rumbled into the island tunnels, presumably the same ones that were used for the subways. Edited by DarthHaggis, Jan 13 2009, 09:13 PM.

Miles, Day 32-2, Answers? Miles could not believe his eyes when he entered the facility behind the cave. Building equipment as far as he could see in the low light, enough to build half of LA-- the half that Miles hadn't grown up in. No, Miles had been fortunate enough to grow up as a little guy in Chinatown, not knowing his dad, until now. Miles thought back to his briefing with Abbadon, and what he had said: "You might see things on this island that don't make any sense, Straume. People will know things about you they shouldn't know. Just remember to use your wits and never forget the objective." Miles had forgotten the objective for a few hours, but he remembered now as they rumbled down the tunnel. His secondary objective was close-- too close for comfort. Was it even feasable to carry it out without his team? Miles would have a hard enough time taking care of Walt by himself, much less Ben Linus. "Linus is smug, self-assured, and in control of every situation. At least, he thinks he is. Use this to your advantage-- let him think he knows you better than he does. Let him think he's in control. Look for a moment of weakness, and enact the plan." Abbadon's words rang true-- Linus had immediately and assumptively took control of the situation. "Hey Ben, I appreciate the secure location, but what do we do about the gas now that the soldiers have it?" asked Miles, deferring to his presumed authority. "Oh I wouldn't worry about that, Mr. Straume," replied Ben. "All in due time." Miles heard a friendly voice that he was sure no one else heard. "And by the way, Mr. Linus," said Miles, being sure to switch to the same formal tone as Ben, "I was told you've been here a long time. Did you know a man named Halliwax?" Jack Shepard Day 32: Entry 2 Jack, Sawyer, and Richard had arrived to the Swan Station. Or as Jack and the rest of his friends would call it, the hatch. "We're here." Jack looked at both men to insure that they indeed were here and he wasn't lying. "I have never really been down there before. Richie here kidnapped me before I could even see it." Sawyer gave Richard a hard look. "To be honest it has been a while since I have seen the Swan as well." Richard laughed a little. "Actually, it has been quite a long time." Jack was very anxious to see his friends his again. "Well, let's go inside shall we?" Sawyer and Richard both nodded their heads. When all three descended down the ladder, they could hear a lot of talking going on. It was coming from the living room. They headed towards that direction and to their shock they saw a bloody Nathan lying on the floor. Sayid was also covered in blood and was apologizing to everyone for some reason. They hadn't noticed the three men standing near the living room entrance. Jack finally decided to make his presence known. "Hey, i'm back." Everyone faced the entrance of the living room and immediately smiles began to form on their faces. "Jack!!!" "Sawyer?!" (They didn't recognize Sawyer because he had shorter hair lol) They ignored Richard and they all ran to hug Jack and Sawyer. Claire was the first to embrace Jack. "Oh Jack where were you we missed you!" Some tears ran down her face, but Jack wiped them away. Richard kept staring at Claire's baby, Aaron. "Don't cry Claire. I'm back now." The two hugged and Aaron was laughing and smiling. Sawyer was being hugged by Rose. To Jack's complete and utter shock he saw Hurley also waiting to hug him. Jack lightly shoved Frogurt out of the way and advanced towards Hurley. "Hurley???" Richard also looked shocked. "Dude your okay!!" Hurley ran towards Jack and bear hugged him. Jack tried desperately to breathe. Sun was hugging Sawyer while all of this was going on. Hurley put down Jack on the floor again. "Hurley, I thought you were dead. I am so glad your okay man!!" Tears ran down Jack's face as he hugged Hurley as hard as he could. Everyone was a little teary-eyed by now. Sayid remained where he was at and kept staring at his hands and then at Nathan. "I thought I was dead too man. I don't know what happened, but I was revived or something dude." Richard kept quiet, but couldn't hide his shocked expression. "You died Hurley?" Sawyer was also shocked now. Hurley just nodded his head to answer his question. After a few more hugs here and there Jack finally went to Sayid and hugged him. "Hey man. What happened?" "I did what I had to do. To save you." Sayid left the room and you could hear him climbing the ladder that leads out of the hatch. Jack followed suit. Jack found Sayid sitting on a rock near the entrance of the hatch sobbing. "Hey why did you do that to Nathan?" Jack sat next to Sayid. "He wouldn't tell me where you were Jack..." "I am sure Nathan had a good reason not to tell you Sayid because the last time I saw him he was shot by the man that I brought with us." Sayid stared at Jack and he knew that he wasn't telling him everything. "Nathan tried to kill you didn't he?" Jack stood up and tried to change the conversation. "That's not important right now.... Sayid the reason I am here is because I need your help." Sayid looked down on the dirt. "Jack you know I told you I would never risk my life by venturing out into the jungle right?" Jack remembered that. (It was when Jack was about to leave with Shannon and the rest near the season 2 finale.) "I know Sayid. But I swear you will not get hurt." Sayid stared at Jack. "What's going on Jack? Why did you bring one of them here?" Jack tried not to reveal too much right now as he felt Sayid was still not emotionally ready to agree to help him. "Something big is going down Sayid. Everyone's lives are at stake. I am teaming with the man downstairs who calls himself Richard because we both want to live." Jack started heading back towards the hatch when he stopped. "When you are done trying to calm yourself please come down man. We seriously need to catch up." With that, Jack started to descend down the hatch again. |

As his heavy breathing mixed with the hoots and howls of the jungle around him, Sayid had never felt like such an animal. Nathan's blood was still wet on his hands and even though he desperately tried to rub his skin clean, he only managed to spread the blood more. With a despairing gasp, he gave up. 'Look at yourself... It's been fifteen years...' he pressed his bloodstained palms into his eyesockets... '15 years and I'm no better than that bastard who did it to me...Arrcch' he roared out into the jungle. The hooting and the howling around him stopped. He was all alone. But he didn't have to be... Climbing down the ladder, he heard the warm voices gliding around in the next room. Jack asked a question. Aaron giggled. The whole room erupetd in adoring laughter. Sayid sidestepped into the bathroom and silently closed the door behind him. The cold water returned his sanity and washed away the stains of the heinous act he had just committed. Discarding his bloodsoaked vest, he retrieved a freshly cleaned plain white t-shirt with a small Swan symbol between the shoulders. The bathroom door slid open and Jack appeared in it's place. 'Oh sorry, I didn't know- oh, you came down.' Sayid nodded. Jack bit his lip and then entered the bathroom, sliding the door shut from the others. 'Listen, Sun told me about what happened in the Flame. None of us have had it easy Sayid, you can't blame yourself.' 'We left for fifteen minutes and when we returned he had disappeared. I couldn't even find a trail.' 'Sayid-' 'Sun and Rose were both looking at me... expecting me to do something... How do you not feel powerless when the two people you are supposed to be guarding, both lose their husbands?... When I saw Nathan, it was all just too much. I couldn't control myself...' Jack pondered for a moment as he stared into Sayid's eyes. 'They were good men Sayid, and you're no different, regardless of what you did today. Nothing seems to stay lost on this island forever,' he cast his arm out towards the kitchen, 'Hurley's living proof of that. A lot of terrible things have happened to us Sayid and we need time to rectify them. But we might not get the chance.' Sayid raised a curious eyebrow. 'What do you mean Jack?' 'These past few days, there have been people arriving on this island. People who seem hell bent on destroying everything they come across. When Locke and Jin and the rest blew up the Tempest, people have been able to find the island.' 'But how? Surely they haven't just stumbled across it, something would have to be - ' 'Drawing them in,' finished Jack. 'The transmission. Danielle Rousseau's message finally left the island,' said Sayid aghast. 'Yeah, but it's now clear that the people on the boats have no intention of rescuing us.' 'What do you propose?' 'If we cut the transmission then any backup these new arrivals might have will find it very hard to find the island. We deal with these men - and then we settle things once and for all.' |

PENELOPE WIDMORE Day 32 Entry 2 The sun was setting in Figi. After spending the entire day contemplating their next move, Penny and Henrik sat seaside at a cafe, feeling defeated. While staring out at the sunset over the ocean, Penny sipped some wine and spoke aloud her thoughts... "I love him Henrik, with all my heart, and to come this far... this.... close..." she stopped herself due to the lump welling in her throat. "Don't give up hope Miss Widmore. Mathias may still call with news on their well being." Another sip, then Penny began again "Hope? I spent all my hope upon discovering those coordinates. All the trouble we went through... you and Mathias at that listening station... and for what? A magnetic anomaly? If we only had our own boat we could..." -BEEP- -BEEP- Penny was interrupted by an incoming call. Henrik looked on as the hope once again shown on her face. She looked back at him astonished. -BEEP- -BEEP- "Aren't you gonna answer that?" said Henrik with baited breath. Penny slowly set her glass on the cafe table and dramatically picked up the transceiver. The screen read =INCOMING CALL= "Hello?" "Miss Widmore... I have news." In an instant her expression changed from hopeful to elated, "Mathias! You made it!" "Yes, although the chopper ran out of fuel. It went down just off shore." "Are you alright? Is that why it took you two days to call?" "Two days?..." Mathias sounded puzzled, "This just happened an hour ago." |

Juliet Burke Day 32 ~ Scene 1 (Early in the day) Juliet was awakened by some loud knocks on her door. She looked at her clock and it was 8:15 AM. "Who is it?!" She quickly got out of her bed and began to dress herself. "It's Ethan! Open the door! It's urgent!" Juliet quickly put her shoes on and almost tripped leaving her bedroom. "Coming!!" She ran to the door and opened it. Ethan immediately entered her living room. He was breathing hard. "It's Richard. He's been captured. By Shepard and Ford." Ethan stared at Juliet as if expecting her to come up with a solution. "Oh... you want some water? Coffee?" "Is that all you have to say? Look I know you don't like Richard, but he told me that you have to go to the Swan." Juliet was heading to her kitchen and then stopped. "What for?" She then proceeded on to make coffee. Ethan followed. "I don't know, but he wants you to bring your medical supplies. Knowing that Shepard is with him... I think you know which medical supplies he meant too." All of a sudden she was looking forward to heading to the Swan now. She stopped trying to make coffee and went to the bathroom to do her hair. "I'm sorry Ethan, but you have to leave now. A girl needs her privacy." She looked at him and gave him her infamous smile. "Oh... right." "Am I going alone? Or are you coming with me?" "Richard specifically said for you to go alone. Danny, Jason, and I will make sure the power plant is fully functioning by the end of the day or tomorrow. Also do you have keys to the bear cages?" "No why?" "Harper isn't at her house and I need to take Ana Lucia with me to the coal mines. Richard said we could use all the help." "No I don't. I guess you will just have to find some other way to get her out." "I guess.." Ethan stood there checking out Juliet. She decided to find a nice way to kick him out. "So what boat am I taking? "Oh right... gotta refuel your boat!" Ethan left the house to prepare Juliet's boat. (Present Time) Juliet ran carrying her medical supplies. They were heavy, but she needed to get there before it got dark. The sun was already coming down. She couldn't believe Richard would help Jack out. She arrived at The Swan just in time before the sun went down. She went down the ladder and was shocked to see how The Swan looked like. She had never been inside of it before. It looked very nice. Everyone was in the kitchen eating when they turned to see Juliet. "Hi. I'm here to help Jack." Jack was the first to greet her and hug her, "Hey Juliet. Nice to see you." Richard also greeted her. "I see you took your sweet time. Better late than never I guess." "Nice to see you too Richard." Jack realized that his people were pretty confused right about now so he decided to address them. "Juliet is here to take off a pace maker that was implanted on me." Jack showed everyone the watch and explained that he will die if his heart beat goes beyond 180. "Jack this isn't the best place to operate on you...." Richard interrupted Juliet. "Jack she will fix you as soon as we do what we were told to do. That was the deal." After a brief stare down from the two men, Jack nodded his head in approval. "Okay fine. We leave tomorrow." "Leave where?" A blond woman asked Jack. Juliet guessed it was Claire since she was holding a baby. "We're heading to a radio tower to turn off Danielle's transmission. We need to stop people from finding this island." "What?!" Everyone was shocked by this. "I am sorry man, but don't we want people to come to this island and rescue us?" A black man asked Jack that question. "Not these people." Jack almost looked terrified when he said it. After all of the commotion wore down. Sawyer came up to Juliet and properly introduced himself. They shook hands ( )"Hey. The name's Sawyer. So your here to fix the Doc huh?" "Yes. I am kind of responsible for that though." "While we were heading to the hatch Jack said you did it because they would kill him. Is that true?" "Yes." "Are you also going with us to the radio tower? Hold up lemme guess.... yes right?" Juliet laughed. "Yes. I don't like to stay in one place." "I guess we have something in common then don't we Sweet Cheeks?" For the first time Juliet felt weak and vulnerable. She always knew how to react to anyhting a man threw at her, but for some reason Sawyer made her have butterflies in her stomach. "I guess we do." Edited by Jate4Ever, Jan 14 2009, 08:06 PM.

Nathan Rom Day 32: Entry 2 Nathan finally got the strength to stand up and go to the bathroom and cleanse his wounds. He looked at his face in the mirror and his face was disfigured. He grabbed some alcohol and applied it to some serious cuts. It stung like crazy. He tried hard not to scream. Sayid had yet to apologize to him. Sun told him to forgive Sayid as he felt responsible for Jin and Bernard's deaths and was just trying to protect them. With jack and Richard being best friends... Nathan wondered if he still had to save Kate and Shannon. Boone would never lie to him. He got out of the bathroom and was met by Hurley. "Hey dude. Sorry about all that." He clearly seemed upset. "Thanks for saving my life man." Nathan then hesitated for a while but finally decided to go for it. "So you were dead right?" "Yeah dude." "How did you die?" "I saved Shannon from getting shot by one of your.... I mean your brother's people... I mean... dude..." He lightly smacked himself. Nathan was shocked by this answer. "That's it! You were supposed to save Shannon and die... but since she was captured and is in trouble again... you were brought back to life..." (This is Nathan's interpretation) "What?" "Hurley you were brought back because you have something you have to do! Hurley I can help you fulfill your goal! You need to come with me and help me out!" "Go where?" "We need to save Shannon and Kate!" "Wha... what do you mean? Are they in trouble? We need to tell Jack!" "Jack is too busy doing something else! He won't believe me! Hurley I swear I am not lying!! Boone told me to do this!" "Boone is alive too?" "I don't know... but will you help me Hurley?" "Okay. I'll help you. But we'll need more help because you make it sound like it's gonna be like totally dangerous dude." "Michael. We can get him to help. I am sure his son was captured by The Others." "No offense man, but you barely have convinced me to join... and you don't know that Walt was captured." "He's been gone for days now. I think that is enough proof." "How will you convince him?" "Don't worry about it. I will get him to join first thing tomorrow. Hurley don't tell anyone about this you understand?" Hurley nodded his head. The two then headed back to the kitchen where everyone was eating and trying to have a good time. Sayid kept dodging any possible eye contact from Nathan. It was a pretty uncomfortable evening. Rose and Sun kept staring coldly into Richard as if blaming him for the deaths of Bernard and Jin. Juliet asked Claire if she could check out her baby to see if he was healthy. She looked at Jack and he gave her the "She's cool. She won't hurt your baby" look. Richard tried asking Hurley how he came back to life... but Hurley just ignored him and ate some DHARMA potato chips. Jack just ignored Nathan as if he wasn't even here. A pretty awkward evening... Martin Keamy - "They Are All Dead" "We captured one of them" A man said on Keamy's walkie, "Where going to need you back here right away sir" "Ok I'm on my way" Keamy hesitantly answered and then walked quickly back to his squad. -------------------------------------------------------------- After a long walk back keamy was now inside a building, it was dark and quiet he found his squad holding a man down and beating him. "We found him hiding" "Who are you?" Keamy asked the beaten man who was now bleeding from his nose and mouth, the man spat a load of blood out onto the floor. "You want to know who I am, I'm your worst enemy" That man shouted in anger, "Now let me go, let me get back to my people" "No, you see, your people are all dead" Keamy said spitefully. Keamy then hit the man in the face. "Your going to tell us everything". He walked out the room and saw one of his men he approached him and said three words "Prepare the gas". LOST |

Hurley Day 32- An uncomfortable toilet visit Hurley was sprawled out on the hatch sofa. He was beginning to wonder whether what Nathan said could actually be the true reason why he was alive instead of dead. What would happen to him once Shannon is saved? Would he just drop dead as soon as she is safe? Would she ever be truly safe whilst on this island? There were so many thoughts and too few answers. The only question he did know the answer to was “Will you help me save Shannon?” This was simply yes… Beginning to doze off to sleep he began to slip from the sofa. Using his arms to keep him from falling, a sharp pain shot through his arm. “Well there is another answer at least” he thought to himself, “I can at least feel pain, so I am still human” Laughing to himself at such a surreal thought he quickly woke up full of energy. Standing up he made his way to the toilet to take a leak. He opened the door to see the other guy, Richard taking a dump. “Damn sorry dude didn’t know it was occupied” “Don’t worry about it” “Eh let me know when you’re finished yea?” “Hugo wait… can we please talk?” “Dude this is kind of uncomfortable you know?” “Okay let me finish and then can we talk?” “Sure dude just cover up please, god” Turning around kind of disgusted at what he had just witnessed he made his way to the kitchen to grab a drink. Nathan was sitting on the kitchen counter holding his ribs. “Hey man what did he want?” “I think he wants to ask me what I know about my uh resurrection” “What? I don’t think it would be such a good idea to tell him your theory, you know saving Shannon and all that” “Why not dude? Couldn’t we use him to help?” “He is the leader of the people who we may end up killing in order to save Shannon! I don’t think letting him know what were up to would help our cause. If he asks you about your resurrection or whatever you wana call it, tell him whatever you want but make it a lie!” Hearing the toilet flush was Nathan’s cue to leave the room. The last thing he wanted was Richard to see him whispering to Hurley. “Hello Hugo can we please talk now?” “Sure dude what you want to talk about?” “I was wondering if you knew anything about how you came to be sitting here with me?” “Well I was sleeping on the sofa over there…” Pointing to the sofa by the pantry “then I disturbed you, you know crapping… and you asked me to talk so here I am” A wide grin spread across Hurley’s face as he said this. “Do not insult my intelligence. You know what I meant. Now please could you tell me how you are still breathing?” “I know as much as you do dude, and im sorry but I don’t appreciate being spoken down to. You do not have any power over me so do not treat me like one of your people. I would love to help you but I have to sleep. I don’t want to be tired for saving… erm shaving tomorrow. Goodnight Richard” “Goodnight Mr Reyes. Happy shaving” |

It's not over till I say it's over! Day 32-2 "Halliwax?" Ben asked quizically. "Oh, yes, Halliwax," Ben concluded with a smirk, causing Miles to look at him hopefully. "Someone's been watching the orientation videos." "Well, yeah, I guess I have. I think I recognize his name. I may have met him." "The name was a fake. His real name was - ah (insert preferred explitive here)!!! Look at that!" Ben said dryly as he viewed the tunnell ahead that was blocked by a subway car that occupied most of the driving space. "Well, he's dead now," Ben said as he stopped the truck and began climbing out of it, "Died in the purge. The gas killed everyone on the island back in 1992," Ben turned and addressed Des and Miles, as well as everyone in the back, "We're going to have to walk the rest of the way." "Can't we use the subway?" "Not without power, Dr. Arzt." Arzt looked at Ben expectantly. He fumbled through his bag as if looking for something, but didn't seem to find it. He then looked at Ben dumbly, and around at everyone else. "Ok, then soldiers. Let's march!" he declared proudly and began marching down the tunnel in a sort of high step. Ben shrugged and followed Arzt as did the rest of the group. The group reached the Barracks and Ben led them to a large white chamber. Arzt, Desmond and Miles entered, and Ben closed the door before Gabriel and Karl could join them. Desmond looked back with a wild look in his eyes and slammed his fists agains the glass door, "What are you doing? Let us out!" "In time, Mr. Hume, in time. I have to prepare the Barracks to defend ourselves against those people you invited to come see us by blowing up the Tempest. Stay put, and everything should be all right. I have a few calls to make." Ben turned to Karl, Alex and Gabriel. "Cameron, you may go," he said dismissively to Gabriel. "Alex, go to your room. Thank you for your help. Karl, go to your own room. And listen to me, Karl. Dr. Arzt must stay in the white room. Do you understand? I'm going to the office. Please do not disturb me. And whatever happens, under no circumstances do either of you let those men out of that room." Edited by Heimdall, Jan 16 2009, 06:29 AM.
